Really Shocked To See Benin City; It Appears To Be In A Mess Compared To The Early 90’s. There Use To Be Zoro Supermarket Along Airport Road Before Akenzua Juction. On Holiday To Benin,Then Bendel State, We Prefer To Take A Walk To Ivbiore Street To Buy Hot Otote Bread.

It's not a mess. The population of the city has tripled. What you are seeing is the effects of population growth. Buts good become the city"s economy has become more vibrant too. With time more gentrification will take place.

Watching from Canada.Thank you for uploading this. actually grow up around Ihama road.I cannot even remember any of these places but the names i still do. A lot has really changed, What do i expect? I left in 1998 been to 9ja only 3 times.I should visit more often. Will try to visit this year. This kind of made my day.

Iyaro you knew and all it's is still Iyaro today. In fact even busier. Busses load 24 hours there. I will check it out on this Night series

Beautiful video! Obaseki has done his own beat. Let others continue from wherever he stops. Would be nice if you could do night videos on other streets like Akenzua, stadium road, Siluko, Akpakpava, Second East, Sapele and New Lagos roads. Don't mind supporting you with some gas money. I know saboteurs have been deliberately destroying a lot of the street lights!

Ohh yes. I would be making a full series on night life in the city. This is the heart of the raining season so I would have to strategize Movements to prevent drenching. I use an electric bike so I'm able to overcome fuel "wahala". Thank you very much.

I Wonder If There Are Short Cut Again In Benin. You Could Passed Via A Compound To Get Onto The Main Or Busy Road. Whilst Sojourning These Compounds, On Permission You Could Get A Fruit For Free Depending On The Season, Infact You Could Block Bitter-leafs Or Scant Leafs. Benin People Are So Kind And Generous; But Don’t Take Them For Granted Or Else Dem Go Show You Oba As They See. Actually It’s Means Big Trouble.

"you go see oba" really means "you go see trouble". In the aspect of motorable short cuts no place like Benin City. But for leg short cuts you would barely find that in GRA area. Those people in GRA are too serious. Any land purchase there is automatic full fencing. You can find that in other parts of Benin though. Like Ugbowo, Siluko, Ekhehuan, Sakpomba areas.

@@litanoHD After getting those hot Otote short bread, there are leg cut via Ivbiore , Ihogbe, then Wire Road, then a small lane beside the secondary school, you can get to Urubi. We use to have some friends at Chief Ero’s house. We also visit our friends at Iyobosa Street. We all would walked to Poppies Corner(Between back of a bank called New Nigeria Bank and James Watt Rd Or 5 Junction) whilst some of Us will go home others will end their day in Cine Centre by end of Third East Circular Rd Towards Sapele Road. It was very calm in Benin and Nigeria.
