I love watching this video over and over again -- seeing those actors and well known performers still alive and looking wonderful... Unfortunately most of them aren't with us any longer, but will continue living on through videos like this one.

One of them..isn't a performer..it's former NYC Mayor and damn embarrassment..Ed Koch.

I was very fortunate to have been there that night and it was TRULY AMAZING! some of the scenes had to be redone and the filming went on longer than expected. We certainly didn't mind at all watching it over again! I can not tell you how many of the stars I met at RCMH AND at the party afterwards at the HILTON! What a special night I will never forget!

I saw Michael Caine as Scrooge from "The Muppet Christmas Carol". I also saw Dabney Coleman on "The Muppets Take Manhattan", and Billy Crystal on "Muppets Tonight" Charles Durning from "The Muppet Movie" and "Elmo Saves Christmas", Jim Henson who use to perform Kermit the Frog and others, and of course, Mark Hamil, Jim Nabors, Tony Randall, Vincent Price, and Carol Burnett on "The Muppet Show". The Muppets are so wonderful and talented.

It's just sad that they don't make shows like this that much anymore. THOSE WERE REAL STARS!!!! TV today needs a "REALITY CHECK" and have a make over. It's sad what TV is anymore. Those were the days.

These Night of !00 Stars shows were well produced and very enjoyable. Just look at the luminaries who are part of this chorus line and no longer with us: Charles Bronson, Yul Brynner, Lloyd Bridges, Cab Calloway, Bob Fosse [ he probably could have directed and choreographed the whole show ] Charles Durning, Ben Gazzara, Jim Henson, Marvin Hamlisch, Rock Hudson, and so many others.
