If it's not important enough for day shift to stay over a little, then it's not important for me to get up in the middle of the day between 2 shifts or stay an extra few hours or go home to return in a few hours. I won't be there. If they're REALLY so short staffed they need me to do like 11 straight shifts or can only accommodate 12 hour shifts, then firing for such an infraction just won't be an option. If it is? Then they didn't need me 11 straight or or need to demand 12s. It's a logic thing with me.

I went for my first of these meetings. It had been scheduled right after night shift and they literally stood at the elevator to usher ppl away from their cars. I thought it probably won't be bad. @@vetiverose128 just like what anyone says, either you love it or hate it...I don't think there's anything in between. Don't get me wrong, we have some crazy patients too that sleeps all day and are awake all night that just goes crazy lol but for the most part, I like that there are less people: visitors, administration, rehab, etc. What I like the most is I can turn off the lights at the station so it isn't so damn bright.

He was 7 when his parents rushed him to our ED, for swallowing 2 gloves. As we were prepping him for surgery, I told him how handsome he was and that I was in love with him. I NEVER apologize for waking up a doctor in the middle of the night. If I’m calling them, it’s for good reason! Been an RN for 25+ years now!

I'm not a Nurse , but I've been in and out of the Hospital a lot over the past 4-5 years.( I've got really bad lung issues). I'm a regular patient at my local Hospital , and I've gotten to know 95% of the staff. But the Nursing Staff is the best , and I love and appreciate them so much.🌹 But the Night Shift is the best.. Not only are they fantastic in there job, they're some of the best comedians I've ever heard in my life.. Sometimes I can hear them out at the nurses station taking about Day Shift.. I'm going to get into all of that ,( keep it PG-13 ). But I've heard some crazy funny stuff coming from them. May God's Love and Care be with every Nurse and Tech around the globe. Doctor's may Diagnose , but Nurses deliver the Cure . Along with Love , Compassion , Consern and sometimes just a listening ear.. Thank You All so much for being who you are.. 🙏👍❤️🇺🇸

I love working night shift. I work in the intensive care unit and I always have a blanket around me coz it’s damn cold and I walk around with it like a cape when I check on my patients at 2 am😂

I have my last forced day shift orientation tomorrow from 7a-7p. New job. Then it’s back to night shift. Thank heavens! I’ve had enough.

This was ON POINT. I worked intake at a mental health facility and I can identify at least one coworker for each scene. You've either worked it or heard enough stories to do an accurate portrayal

Loving your videos. I'm a day shift nurse and will be going on night soon. This was funny and accurate when I have my favorite team on duty😁
