Why are the bosses so sped up??? I remember seeing a let’s play and it was a lot slower in some instances, for example the first Mad Doctor. When he comes in slicing and dicing that victim it wasn’t so damn sped up.

@@enshk79 I only just read this comment now. The reason it looks so fast is because one of the players was holding a button, which speeds up the cutscenes. That is actually a feature in the game, not something related to emulation.

Well, this game has been remade but a lot of people are saying it doesn't look or play well and that they prefer this original version. EDIT: I bought the remake version on PSN, it's only $10 and I like it just fine!

Nice! Which rom did you use? I can only find roms that are 2 players. If I could have the name of your version I could probably find it somewhere. Using rpi3 with retropie (lr-mame2003). Your help is appreciated. Thanks.

You need to press the service mode button, which is F2 by default on Windows MAME, to open the service menu and then you would change player selection to 3p simultaneous in game options.

@@wag8920 That's something I am completely unfamiliar with. I only know how to change the number of players on the standard version of MAME. I would imagine that the idea would be the same, where you would open the service menu and change it from there, but I don't know what the default key is to do that, and whether or not the tab key would open up the menu to change controls. Also, it's worth noting that this game only goes up to 3 players, although Golden Axe Revenge of Death Adder is 4 player.

@@arronmunroe I just figured out how to solve this. In the configs of recalbox there is an option to remap the service menu to recalbox controllers. The game is running with 3 players now, nice!

I believe it technically is possible to play this game on both the PSP and Switch, but I wouldn't recommend it. I would just use MAME for PC to play this game.

+3 Blokes With Beards Personally, I don't think that it's difficult to set up, as far as the netplay itself. As long as you don't have a tough time setting up MAME itself, then the netplay should be easy enough to deal with. There should be some guides on a few websites, although I don't have any particular one to recommend.

The 3rd player should be banned for life. Very bad. He was almost useless. Discovered his super after the two used it like 100 times. 💩
