Did someone else make this experience: You listen to a song and suddenly you remember how you felt at some point in your life. Listening to this song throws me back into the early nineties when I was 21/22 and had just finished school. As you can imagine this was a great time, the years of Shoegaze and Dreampop. I guess getting those feelings is somehow intended by the band because the Dreampop vibes of this song are undeniable. So this is definitely a "feel good song" for me, like a musical time travel.

That's what "Breathe" by Telépopmusik does for me. Transports me right back to the late 90s/early 2000s. I was just a kid then, but I never forgot the way I felt when I first heard that song play on the radio.

@@loudoge3932 "Breathe" is a great song! But that's something different. The song "Breathe" is from the time it reminds you of. “In Poly Amber” is from 2020 and gives me the mood of the early 90s. So this song is somehow retro, it gives me the vibes of a different time. By the way: When you like "Breathe" you should listen to a song from Angela McCluskey (The singer of Télépopmusik) called "Handle With Grace" if you don´t know the song - very similar to "Breathe" and also beautiful.

Oh yeah of course! I was just trying to relate to the feeling component. "Drifting" takes me back to my childhood during the 90s era of home game consoles & arcades because it reminds me of many of the soundtracks. There's a song called "Honeymooning" by Holy Motors that really hurls me back to the 90s more so though.. into the dark, depressing, somber and mystifying aspects of my life and somehow it still brings me calm. I'm going to listen to "Handle with Grace" now!

This song is from 2020 and has no relation to my younger years in the 90s. And yet it puts me in the mood of that time without knowing why. I find it somehow strange...

This is something! This song helped me to get through the dark times a year ago. I remember how randomly it appeared. I was in a car, going back home from hospital where I had to leave my kid with my wife, and this song starts. And I just bursted into tears. It helped a lot and still does. Thank you Nigh Tapes!

The first time i heard this song was by accident - it had been saved on an offline playlist for a camping trip. There i was, sitting alone in the shade struggling with just being still. And then this song came on. I will always associate this track with canyon country and the beauty of the desert. You guys create something special!
