I'm not a very nostalgic person, but this one really hits me for some reason. It's not that it's reminding me of a specific song, but I can clearly see my younger self riding shotgun in my grandpa's truck while he plays every funky cassette tape he has. It's both wonderful and sad to remember, since it's something I can't get back. 10/10 song

It’s Japan giving the US a culture whitewash from the 80’s reboot. The influence would be next to nothing had the US not use Japan as a military base for 75 years. That’s why everything Americans love (Anime, any Asian country is Japan, it’s always Japan) that’s by design. It’s a culture war going over everyone’s heads. It’s American soft power and what we ‘benefit’ from it

@plasticage20854 жыл бұрын
Japan went porsper in the 1980s due to its economic bubble. they invested a lot of money in many things, including culture products like music and anime industries. the anime back then symbolize their optimism in the future, before they went crumbled in the 1990s after the bubble crushed. this gif (Kimagure Orange Road) is one of the best anime that captured how the middle-class Japanese youth in the 1980s living their life.

This is even better than what I usually hear. One thing I dislike about most music here on Artzie, if I were to give a critique, is that the sound quality is very one dimensional. As in, the depth of the songs being heard follow the familiar motif of muffled singing in the beginning, while statically staying in a more nostalgia driven state as it moves forward. The chords leave the ears as fast as they come in and you can't hear the other intricate things that happen behind the voice. Music is at its best when it sounds like their's more happening to reinforce the melody and tune. That last 10 seconds was so breathtaking, it really laid down the music dreamily, it was like ART! The voices faded away like a breeze. If anyone can hear me PLEASE take what I'm saying into consideration for future works. I swear, you'll only make this beautiful music even BETTER!
