I LOVE THE NEW BED!!!! Our entire marriage we have always had cheaper semi-nice beds until 2 years ago when we finally went out and bought the PERFECT bed. It is SO comfortable and now I smile every time I walk into our bedroom! :)

Do you think getting a bunch of plants for your place is something you would consider? I think it could be really nice, some purify the air which is beneficial for babies. Just make sure the plants you are getting aren't poisenous in case your baby decides to munch on it

I used to hate doing laundry and avoided it like the plague! I would wait until I had huge piles of laundry and then work through for a couple days straight. But I decided to try a different way. You have to be caught up on laundry to start but it's so worth it! So here's my trick: assign everyone their own day for laundry, BUT don't fold that load that day. I have three kids but I combine my two youngest since they normally don't have a ton of laundry a week to make a load by themselves. Then assign one day for towels/sheets or cleaning cloths. My schedule goes like this - mine and my husband's Monday, two kiddos Tuesday, Towels Wednesday, older daughter Thursday, Mine and my husband's again on Friday (so evens out to one day per person, I just combine them.) Sheets/ miscellaneous on Saturday. So if your baby's laundry day is Monday, wash and dry all of his dirty clothes, but DON'T fold them, leave them in the dryer until the next day. If your day is Tuesday, wash and dry your clothes and only fold the baby's laundry from the day before, leaving yours in the dryer. So you're only ever folding and putting away one load of laundry. Then if Chad's day is Wednesday, wash and dry his laundry, but fold and put away yours. Then towels the next day and fold and put away Chad's. So then you are never waiting on the dryer to fold and put away your laundry, but you have to empty the dryer to get the wet clothes in, make sense? Then you can fold anytime during the day! Yes, the clothes stay in the dryer but I've never had any issues doing this. Also, I don't separate by colors. I wash everything in cold water on delicate and never have problems. Towels and sheets I wash on hot. Hope this helps!

Your new home is looking amazing so far! I like the chairs that are with the dining room table. The wicker chairs actually match the wicker light fixtures and the clear ones blend in with the table so it doesn’t take away from the flow from the kitchen to dining area to living room. It’s beautiful. I love the new bed! Watching you clean helped motivate me to clean a bit before going to bed tonight. Thank you for the motivation. I appreciate you! Much love!❤️

I have a 6 month old daughter & I do anything I can when she sleeps or when she is okay occupying herself 😅 I get stuff during the day but I do a lot at night as well

I have a 6month old and depending on how much laundry I have sometimes I’m able to put him in the jumper during the day and I can get it done or most of the time I fold them while he’s taking his nap 😊

When I have a bunch of laundry to fold I just set small goals all day! “ I’ll fold and put away 10 items after coffee” Then I’ll fold 15 in an hour or so and repeat throughout the day until I can just do the rest after the kids go to bed seems less intimidating with smaller goals

Dining table and bed very pretty. I know you don't like it but carpet doesn't look bad at all. Honestly good to do general pick up in morning but make sure place tidy before bed to give you less to worry about next day.

After cleaning your sink spray a little vinegar and water solution in it and let it stay (dont wipe) gives your sink a VERY "shinier" look.

My daughter is three months and I try to do laundry whenever she lets me 😅 whether it’s when she’s napping or playing or swinging. The transitioning is so hard 😩

Hi from the UK. So when my now 2year old was a newborn I used to have a set routine. So after her morning feed at 7am I would stick a pile of washing in and do the dishes and wipe the kitchen down. Then I would go upstairs and have a shower and get dressed. Then her mid morning feed around 11am then I'd wind her and change her bum and dress her. Then settle her again while I dried and folded the clean clothes then put them away ... have my dinner then relax till she woke for her lunch then I'd gove her lunch bottle and after that we would go for a 2hour nap then once I woke I'd change her and have snuggles and play then husband would come home and he would have some bonding time while I put more washing in and did our dinner then once all that was done I'd wash up while he sorted baby for bedtime ... then at half 7 put baby to bed and I'd Hoover up and clean house and be all done by 8:30pm And then cup of tea and tv till 10pm ... I never stopped been noisy and it's paid of as we can walk around and stuff and Hoover and she don't wake up lol

Love the new house! I have a 2 1/2 year old, but I also have found ways to keep up with my house work by letting her sit in her bouncy seat or swing next to me while I took a few minutes to take care of the house and myself. Don’t forget, it’s okay for them to grow up seeing you do things like that. It shows them independence is good and music or an educational show are always a good thing too! I’d put on Clifford the big red dog or even a show called Word Party on Netflix! If it’s in small doses while you clean, it’s okay. You’ll get your stride!

If there is enough for a load, I try to do a load of laundry a day so it doesn’t pile up and I usually fold it and put it away while my son is napping. It only takes about 10 minutes to put up since it’s only 1 load

sasukefroupie I said IF there is enough for a load, I wash sheets twice a week (I have a dog that sheds) then burp cloths and towels are usually once a week and then clothes are once a week, and I will sometimes wait until the day after to actually put them away. I can’t do all the laundry in one day, I’m home alone with a 7 week old who doesn’t like to be sat down unless he’s napping

I had a baby boy a little after you and before I could do three or four loads of laundry. Now I figured out that one load a day is best and doesn’t pile up. So for example Monday’s I have set for my older sons laundry Tuesday I have for my baby’s laundry Wednesday I have our regular clothes and on. It has made it a lot easier on me and it doesn’t pile up as bad as it was. I love the dining table. Can’t wait to see the finished home.
