The whole ending is cut for some reason. There were a scene, where Kate goes after Willie and Alf, while they are sitting near a camp fire.

My mom watched this when she was a kid and I also watched this when I was young. So I was 8 years old watching ALF in the 2010's while kids had no idea what ALF was and I would just hear my friends' parents go "Oh that show!". I was raised in 80's culture.

Not the full episode. At the end, both Kate and Lynn are furious that Willie and Alf hopped a freight train and they have to go get them. Willie opens the can of beans that Gus dropped and he and Alf start singing. 🥰

Why did they cut out the best parts: ALF sitting on the train singing "Hello America, How Are you" and he asks Willie what the next line is, and Willie says, "Just be quiet" and ALF thinks that is the next line. It follows up at the end where ALF and Willy are sitting by a campfire and Willie brings ALF a can of beans, and then ALF starts singing the song again.

Considering the prevalence of end-of-the-world, dystopian shows with awful, stupid people doing awful, stupid shit, it would be a nice change to have something funny, intelligent and light-hearted like Alf back on the air.
