He might have actually accomplished the perfect smite. I think he smited it so fast just as Nightblue's next drain DoT went through so the heathbar wasn't updated by a split second. That the only explanation left

DeathStorm Yeah thats probably it. The health bar just didn't visually update, but was actually low enough to get smited.

+General Moruc Lee was simply lucky there, ofc NB3 waited for the 850 hp mark and Lee smited (smote? idk) way earlier. The thing with LoL dmg calculation is, it only refreshes every 0.25 seconds. All dmg that happens in these 0.25 secs is one "package of dmg", so a Draven aa or a Drain DoT will lower the hp just so that Lee could get it. The saying 50/50 is really true there, you just cant know who gets it at that point, bc all happenes in under 0.25 secs. You can see that quite often with "one-shots" from assassins in replays btw. I hope i could help you there. ^^
