Just received this. Overall it’s decent. The wave feature is a thoughtful add on as well. With that being said anybody who is use to using the spot lamp type may be a little disappointed. This unit is bright enough to illuminate a work area sufficiently, but it’s definitely not as bright as other rechargeable headlamp designs out there.

Excellent review- I too find glasses is a huge bummer with many accessories. 😃👍🤓

i wish more things these days would have less options and more action, so many things are all show and little if any go

Great product! I have one of these. The waving feature is awesome, except if I'm working overhead. My arm will turn off the light at the worst possible time. So I use the on/off button manually, and clean the light after I use it.

Thank you for mentioning the glasses. That is what I have been trying to figure with a lot of the headbands

the sensor for touch less on/off feature triggers on anything and is sensitive to about a foot. Makes it annoying in tight spaces. I never use the brightest setting because the battery dies too fast. The glue holding on the led strip to the headband fails. I've superglued it back on, but we'll see if that fix lasts.

On the bightest flood setting, how long would you say the battery lasts?

@davesharp5507 I want to like these so much, but after about a month they inevitably start to fail. Multiple issues. Mostly the strip loses led contact to individual leds within the strip. It's strange too, because they will light up if you press/twist the strip around, but I don't see how to uncouple the strip from tge backing to check contact points. The strip sits on top of a rubberized cover band that will separate with normal use due to either heat, poor/weak glue or sweat. The wave on-off feature is a waste due to absolutely anything activating it, but I still like the (*want to like) product. Great for work in tight places. Having to rotate through all light options (high, low, beam vs led strip etc) is slightly annoying, but if it's been on for a bit on a particular setting it will turn off on next press instead of scroll. Generally lasts probably 3 hours on high, then steps down to low until you turn it off-on again, but then lasts shorter and shorter periods between stepping back down to low. I'd say it 'lasts' around 6-7 hours under those conditions. If I knew an easy fix for the led strip lights faulting, I would def recommend for the price, but every lamp gives out in similar ways on all models I've tried

Run time seems to be 2.5-8 hours. I suppose it depends on the duration and high beem level.

What a great idea! Not going to use it for in the garage though. Need it to go out in the chicken yard. Sometimes with chicken poo, this way I don't have to touch anything. You sold me on it! I see your almost there with 100,000 subscribers. Great Job!!!!

Scroll down from that listing and there's 452 identical products for 1/4 that price.

I think you are paying for the "Nightbuddy" name. They claim to be the original designer. Temu sells one that appears to be identical at fist glace as well for $4.97. Maybe some day I'll do a "knockoff" channel and compare products. ;)

@1D10CRACY that is an awesome idea. We have to know what the "knockoffs" are really about!

I got two off Temu, although they appear identical in every way, the run time is only about ten minutes before it needs recharging
