Props to Gil for working out in sandals. I ride a motorcycle, and the gym is on my way home from work. If I need to bring my laptop and lunch with me, I don't really have a place to keep a pair of shoes and a change of clothes, and if I'm busy I don't have an extra 30 minutes to go home and change. But I don't let that stop me from working out. I'll strip down to my undershirt and go lift with dress pants and dress shoes. Gym staff used to say something. I told em my shoes have rubber soles just like sneakers so their floor is safe, and I don't need shorts or sweatpants to work upper body (I do legs on weekends and take the bus on cardio days). Now they just leave me alone. People look at me weird, but I don't care. I'd rather be a fit weirdo than a fat normie.
