OH MY GOD I CAME UP WITH A STORY LIKE HEAR ME OUT (btw the grammar will not be correct but i will try my best) She's from a wealthier family. They ingrained the piano in her like a family birthmark. Despite her background, she's kind, she's humble, but she lives a melancholy life. Yes, despite having everything she could ever want and need (she never asked for much to begin with) she is alone. Her heart is void of joy, having never had someone to call a true friend, because all of her parents' friends' children were spoiled in their upbringing, and she supposed that was because that's how they were brought up. Nonetheless, she never really bonded with them, and they branded her as a quiet girl who couldn't socialize, some even called her snobby because they got the impression that she thought she was better than they were. But alas, this was not the case for our young beauty, she was only alone and misunderstood. Now he, on the other hand, didn't come from much. Hardly anything, actually. But he knew joy, because he had family and friends and people who loved and supported him, despite when things got rough. He had shared many laughable and fun moments with those he loved, and he was never left without a smile on his face. He had managed to scrape up enough of his savings (after he helped pay bills and groceries of course) to buy a second-hand Ukulele. He, of course, didn't know how to play it, so he saved up extra money and bought books and sheet music, and taught himself a little everyday. In a few months, he could read and write music in his sleep, and play his ukulele behind his head. One day, as he wanders back into the music shop for new strings (his had popped during tuning), he sees her, alone, standing by a large grand piano, eyeing it carefully, unsure if she should take a seat and press the ebony and ivory keys. He walks over to the strings, and almost instantly finds the one he needs, pays, and gets help from the store associate to change his them. He looks back over at her, and she's sitting down. Now that he thinks about it, she's been sitting there a while. Is she going to play anything? He shrugs, and goes back to stringing up the uke. By the time he finishes and is about to leave the shop, he hears the first few notes ping from the piano, and he stops to listen. Then she starts singing! He was completely in a trance now. Her voice was beautiful, but her song was so sad, and he realizes its familiar, and that he's heard it before over the radio. He recalls the original being so much more upbeat, how does she make it sound so sad? So heart breaking? So true and real? Her voice fades as she hits the final keys, and his hands are already in place, ready to move, and he starts strumming into the quiet of the shop. His joyful voice carries to her instantly, and she whips around to see him. Now she's the one locked in a daze. He walks over to her, and sits beside her on the piano bench, facing away from the piano. His voice makes her heart thump in ways she never knew possible, and for the first time since she was a small child, she remembers what joy is again. He finishes his little solo, and the shop erupts in applause for the two, who promptly stand and take a bow, hand-in-hand. They shake hands, and she's off, out of the store in a flash. He knew he was coming back tomorrow if he could see her again. EDIT 8/17/2020: I cannot thank you all enough for the kind words and replies. I wrote this 3 years ago when I had just discovered this video and the inspiration hit me like a freight train. I don't do much writing here on KZbin, as I am only an amateur creative writer so a lot of my work isn't refined or published out in the world. I do have a wattpad account but a lot of it is thirst fanfiction and a few drabbles. Though, if that's what you're looking for, feel free to scope me out there! As for the future, I may try to write more creative scenarios on other nightcore videos, so keep an eye out ;)
