To everyone who says they can't cry. I lost my ability to cry but then I gained it back and I'll tell you how I did it. It's kinda like ,,fake it till you make it" type of thing where when you feel the emotion you do what you would normally do like when you want to cry try to not blink, get wind in your eyes, rub them gently etc. When I tried this when tears started falling down I started to suddenly feel so much emotion and started crying for real. It's still hard sometimes but I try to let out my emotions now and not hold it back for me. But I'm a girl, I think it'll be tougher for you, but please try, it's really not healthy. Sending hugs couse boys don't get a lot of those

Boys feel sad too...but we have been holding our years for so long that evolution made it harder to cry or express our emotion freely which makes males more susceptible to depression where we would suffer alone in darkness with no one to turn to. Let's cheat evolution and make the decision for ourself. It's alright to cry because it's a human emotion, like we wont be able to cry in the first place if we didn't need it...that's how evolution works. If you dont feel safe doing it around everyone then understand that those people are only a burden to you and are toxic..get away from them. I love this song because I'm that therapy friend and most of my friends are guys and ever since I actually met males I noticed they almost never cried so I opened them up a bit and my biggest modo is that no matter what gender you are crying screaming and getting angry are human. Emotions are human. So it's never bad to cry, and I think many people need to hear that girls boys nonbinary, and more, cause it don't matter what you are on the outside, we're all human on the inside, and you the person reading this, you're human too bro, let'cha self cry sometimes

This will always be one of my favorites. I remember I used to cry when I got hurt and all that when I was in elementary school. That all changed when I was then being made fun of by some girls saying I’m no boy. Since then I closed it off. The only time I cry now is when I’m alone and even that is very few now. I had by no means, a bad childhood, but expressing sadness was always hard for me. I am physically a very masculine figure and often tried to live up to this (I had no sisters and three older brothers of 3, 15 and 18 years older), I express myself very clearly, but in a positive way, even when something is saddening, I show comedic frustration or just anger. I'm a positive person, but having all four of my grandparents die (relatively) unnexpected in two years had a heavy toll on me, and my family in general. Then my cat. @Ryan hmm well it's ok to feel numb at first , honestly if dealing with a 2 deaths has taught me anything it's that it is ok to feel heart broken and yet not cry , the problem comes when you force yourself to not cry for the sake of others , do you perhaps have anyone to open up to about this ? and what do you mean by break up? if you mean in a platonic relationship sense , then slowly distance your self and get to know others , it may be hard as hell putting yourself out there but believe me it's worth it , and if you can't find anything to talk about , either look for someone with a similar interest as you and talk to them about it or heck even ask some rando what they're reading and about it's story , their thoughts etc , or make them laugh about a funny thing that happened in class , again it will be hard , but it's not impossible , don't give up you can do this , if they're your bf/gf then again distance and then be honest with them , and try to become less dependent on them alone , as for the crush shpeal , bro failure is a part of life , and frankly that easily could happen again and is hard as hell to deal with , rejection is painful no matter what facet it's in , but it's what you do about it that makes the difference , like being like well this person doesn't like you like that and that's ok , that doesn't mean you are any less important , valid or amazing , try again , try finding a new crush , detract yourself , work on yourself and your confidence , life is too short to waste on one person alone , we have millions of soulmates not just one , and you'll have millions of crushes , it seems very intense at first , but it will fade with time if you let it and make the effort to make it so ,however if that crush was your bestie , just be like "listen , I respect our friendship more than my crush , and I understand if you feel weird about it and that's fine but I don't want something so trivial to ruin our friendship , I'll get over this crush but I want to be your friend regardless if that is ok with you " and if you need space just ask for it , be honest and do your best , good luck , I believe in you dude :DD wish you all the best side note tho: sors this was oober long

My lil brother(7) hurted his knee after falling down his cycle. My parents also said that boys don't cry. He was literally on the verge of tears. Tho this song for boys I'm a girl but this is so relatable. I can't even cry with my so called friends. I have to wait till night falls. Altogether I've stopped feeling and start to try fitting in with ppl expectations.
