Uhm no its not its jusy shatter me without the lyrics -_-
@Aivur.Marshmallow9 жыл бұрын
Sima Kaur It's still inspired. Shatter me is based on child of light. It even says it on the original video. and she wears a COL costume through the vid.
@lillianmills99819 жыл бұрын
Not exactly... this song is about how Lindsey Stirling felt when she was younger and had an eating disorder. She says so in the Shatter Me Studio Behind the Scenes.
@Aivur.Marshmallow9 жыл бұрын
Lillian Mills I think I meant the song Child of Light, not Shatter Me. I guess I got confused since they're kinda both the same. But yeah, I guess it is better to say the song was BASED on the game Child of Light not inspired by. I just wanted to say so since such an amazing game should be played as the subtle feelings it brings is rarely ever found in today's games/media.

Child, tuck yourself in bed And let me tell you a story Of Lumaria, a long lost kindom And a girl born for glory In Austria was a crowned land, ruled by a duke Aurora was his daughter Child of a duchess mysterious Beloved by her father He raised the girl alone They were rarely apart Till the Duke felt lonely And misplaced his heart Tis' was the great Friday Before Easter, 1895 Players performed for them His new bride by his side. That Night, Aurora went to sleep The fire burned down low She caught a chill tat spread Her skin was cold as snow At dawn they found her Vacant, Auroras light gone out Her father wept and pleaded But there could be no doubt For all intents and purposes Aurora, she was dead And yet, Once apon a time She awoke in a strange land instead..... *~Child of Light~*

This reminds me of a story I made, called "The boy with his Violin" Basically it's an OC backstory, a boy playing a violin is known as a mage in town and everyone suspects him to be evil, but his music is the only thing keeping the angry spirts at bay,every night on a Blue moon(In this world theirs a blue moon every year)he goes into the woods hideing in the Shadows to play his violin and keep the spirit at bay for another year, he lives on forever until he figures out how to end the spirts raign. Does this sound interesting or not??? Just wondering cause I've been wrighting stuff in it lately
@iva44034 жыл бұрын
Wow it actually sounds really really interesting, I really like how it's not too full of basically everything that sounded "cool" or that the main character isn't playing the victim since people's oc tend to oftenly be like that. Good luck with it!!!

Light is electromagnetic radiation within a certain portion of the electromagnetic spectrum. The word usually refers to visible light, which is visible to the human eye and is responsible for the sense of sight. Visible light is usually defined as having wavelengths in the range of 400-700 nanometres (nm), or 4.00 × 10−7 to 7.00 × 10−7 m, between the infrared (with longer wavelengths) and the ultraviolet (with shorter wavelengths). This wavelength means a frequency range of roughly 430-750 terahertz (THz). The main source of light on Earth is the Sun. Sunlight provides the energy that green plants use to create sugars mostly in the form of starches, which release energy into the living things that digest them. This process of photosynthesis provides virtually all the energy used by living things. Historically, another important source of light for humans has been fire, from ancient campfires to modern kerosene lamps. With the development of electric lights and power systems, electric lighting has effectively replaced firelight. Some species of animals generate their own light, a process called bioluminescence. For example, fireflies use light to locate mates, and vampire squids use it to hide themselves from prey. The primary properties of visible light are intensity, propagation direction, frequency or wavelength spectrum, and polarization, while its speed in a vacuum, 299,792,458 metres per second, is one of the fundamental constants of nature. Visible light, as with all types of electromagnetic radiation (EMR), is experimentally found to always move at this speed in a vacuum. In physics, the term light sometimes refers to electromagnetic radiation of any wavelength, whether visible or not. In this sense, gamma rays, X-rays, microwaves and radio waves are also light. Like all types of light, visible light is emitted and absorbed in tiny "packets" called photons and exhibits properties of both waves and particles. This property is referred to as the wave-particle duality. The study of light, known as optics, is an important research area in modern physics.

Who wants to hear a story: Too bad if you said no One day I found a song called Child of light but the majority of people said it was shatter me. I peeked through the comments while the song played and I found the most hilarious comment ever. I laughed for a bit and I left this. A year later I came back on this song to find that comment but I didn't see it. I scrolled right down (not to the very bottom. That would take too long) and I was up to 1 year. Trust me I pressed the newest comment button. Anyway a couple of months later I came back to seek it again but I STILL COULD NOT FIND IT. I forgot who wrote it and if it was a macro or micro comment. The comment was: 'The dislikes must be the children of dark’😹😹😹😹that comment never gets old.

On 4-23-14, Lindsey uploaded a music video called Shatter Me. About two weeks later (16 days), she uploaded a music video called Child Of Light. The song Child Of Light was an instrumental, orchestral version of Shatter Me. Lindsey made this song/video to promote The Child Of Light PC game by Ubisoft.
