it never stopped the anime is on hiatus cause the creator is tired of the lame fillers that confused everyone that the studio keeps pulling out they asses the manga is still going on its currently on the thousand year blood war arc which is the fight on hollow and shinigami vs the quincy and the zero division and all of the soul society got annihilated by the quincy ichigo learns the truth about his mom and his dad he finds out who old man zangetsu really is and what his hollow self is as well and a whole bunch of things kenpachi also learns how to use his shikai and fully awaken his shikai and break shit
