This song fits the "Kingdoms of Ruin" anime like a glove In the intro of the OMV, it says He(Adonis) watches from the ageless Void (His cryo prison) waiting for the time He'll take Human form again (When he gets freed) to avenge the victim(s) (Chloe) of the war machine (Redia Empire and its cohorts) and vanquish the Evil that gave it life (The King and/or Dorothea) The lyrics also describe the world of the anime. Adonis 'surveys the chaos' and 'takes in the lack of raw humanity' on his travels. The entire world has indeed fallen in love with their insanity (Paranoid hatred of the witches). Hear the innocent voices scream as their tormentors laugh through all of it. (Events of the witch hunts) No forgiveness for all he'd seen A degradation he can't forget The world itself is also quite literally dying, as without the witches to replenish natural resources, they are slowly being used up.
