It's such an odd feeling. It really has been 12 years. Yet while listening to these old songs it feels like I'm secretly staying awake on a middle school night again. I'm not sad at all really, if anything I feel happier after this. Knowing I can cherish such precious little moments that I'd never thought twice of back then, reminding me that I did in fact not waste my childhood, just simply existing in a way that made me happy. Reminding me that I should continue existing in my own way, because if I do, I'll be able to look back with the same joy that I didn't truly waste my life.
