To anyone wondering, I translated the song as best as I can. Flowers bloom on the mountains of Izmir. The golden sun shines over there. Defeted enemy flees like a wind. Long live Mustafa Kemal Pasha long live. Your name will be written on jewel stones. I sit on the mountains of izmir. I write the ones who died to book. I embraced the orphan children. The destiny was like this oh poor mother. I sacrifice my blood to my beloved land. I sacrifice my life to my beloved land. I am a son of Turk. I want to die. Even the soil is thorn. My bed is my land. Ones who turn back may be ashamed from their god.

Here's a correction to make it make more sense in English Flowers bloom on the mountains of Izmir. The golden sun shines over there. Defeated enemies flee like the wind. Long live Mustafa Kemal Pasha long live. Your name will be written on jewel stones. I sit on the mountains of Izmir. I write in a book to the ones who died. I embraced the orphaned children. Destiny is like this oh poor mother. I sacrifice my blood for my beloved land. I sacrifice my life for my beloved land. I want to die a Turkish son. Even if the soil is thorned My bed is my land. "Only worthy opponent in XVI and XVII"? Tell me more, please!
@jwstooth4496 Жыл бұрын
@@locanosantricanos It's mostly cultural thing. During this centuries Poland was quite a local superpower and we had three external enemies: 1. Swedes how mostly plundered and were perceived as dirty 2. Russians who never got on same civilization level and all their victories (like retaking Moscow) were made possible due to not caring about human life 2. Ottoman Empire which actually fought against us like real nation and was actual threat to Poland. Up to today in some schools you can hear teachers speaking highly about this nation. Turkey was also the only country to openly unaccept partitions and show us support. One of our greatest generals - Bem found safety there
@locanosantricanos Жыл бұрын
@@jwstooth4496 What about the Mongols? I actually needed to duble-check it(cuz I'm just 24 and already having demeans), but in the beginning of the XIII, the mongols made war and concerd a wast land. Todays mongolia, china, russia, pakistan, syria, irak, ukraine, and all the way up to austria, knoking at wienas doorstep. And when austrian army got cornerd near its city, who came to help? Polish hussarsers, riding down the big mountain-hill with the light of the sun shining with them. Also, they had wings, so the mongols saw it as a army of angels coming down from the heavens and in fear fled back to their land back. If poland wasn't there to help austria, europa whould look different today. Yes, I do love history and historical figures. (also, sorry for my bad grammar in english. Not my first, or second language.)
@jwstooth4496 Жыл бұрын
@@locanosantricanos I can agree with most of this but Vienna siege was made by Ottomans as much as I remember. Mongol invasion happened around three hundred years earlier if I remember correctly. And we were defeated many times by them. In XVI and XVII century closest to Mongols were Tatars who were subject of Ottoman Empier

Always loved this song, and thanks to some in the comments I now know what it's about. I even worked with one from Turkey, and one from Azerbadzjan at a workshop for ventilation. They were a bit intimidating and to much in to just working, but I did learned a few words in turkish. If only you could let Sweden and Finland in to NATO. Also, is this background "just" a really good background or is it taken/inspired from a actual anime? If Turkey is in this anime than I really whant to watch it. Love to know about other countries history and their different leaders/any important figure. ¡UPDATE! - 06th of February 2023 News all day about the earthquake in Turkey and Syria! Last time I checked it was about 2'500 people with died in that horrible tragedy. MAY GOD HAVE MERCY UPON THE PEOPLE!!! This tragedy could be at more eas if Erdogan stopped peaking on Sweden and let it join NATO. Than in time of need a member of NATO could, or should I say be guaranteed, to get help. That's what a alliance is for, right!? Every country has its own problems, so no leader should be allowed to propaganda around other countries problems/misfortune for their own good being. That's about what I think at least.
