I remember listening to this song almost everyday in 7th grade with my headphones plugged in and sitting by my locker alone every morning. I was in a constant state of despair and was super lonely. I was also very depressed at the time and felt alone in the world. This song just helped me in a very profound way to get though that time. That was 5 years ago, im now a senior in high school and graduating in may. I don't know who needs to hear this but, it gets better, it really does. Sure bad days exist, but things get put into perspective as you get older. Just remember there are people who love you and see your worth for you, even when you cannot. This song helps me remember that and I hope it helps you too! ❤❤

Yes it does get better, i promise you that. I was in a rut that i never thought i could get out of. But i did it, and you will too. I know its hard, i know you sometimes cant bear it. But you'll be okay with time. Most of you dont want to die, you just want to stop hurting, and im so sorry for all that you have been through and are going through. Im 3 months clean from self harm, relapse is a thing. I understand that. Please dont commut suicide, if i had when i attempted however many times ive attempted i wouldnt have done certain things and im so glad i did. Im here for each and every one of you. Im still depressed, but it's not as bad. I love you all 💕 im here if anyone needs.

@Mikaela Hyakuya Well yeah that is true. It is a hard place to hate for those who were born lucky. It is so hard for me and others who were born in places like America in a good family to understand pain and stuff. I am only 14 yet I know more than most. For the longest time I thought I didn't have the right to be depressed about simple things like moving from my friends because other people have it way worse. After all, to me, the world has so much darkness. But after talking to so very many people about what they believe to be true... I decided it is ok to feel sorry for yourself and I have grown as a person. I was dead inside and gained so very much knowledge of the world in which I live. Now... I can say that the world is most certainly a dark and horribly cruel place... But a place where hope can be the deciding factor. As in without hope you fall into darkness. With light you transcend the darkness and endure. Endure is a very sad word though. And seeing as I am a human... I cannot change any ones beliefs nor will I try. So endure, in my eyes, is a way to say survive. While many people want to do more than just endure many are unable to. I wish and hope I can change that one day.

When I was 9 my depression was SO severe I had to move and live with my auntie and uncle. I and to leave my brother who was 14. I didn't have any contact with my mom,dad or brother. He got upset as we used to have so much fun in the woods outside our house. When I was 14 I came back. I knocked on the door. My brother answered and he didn't recognise me. I told him about me. This song will always remind me of my older brother 💜 he sees and hears things and it makes him do such horrible things. He deserves to be happy he has an amazing family and wonderful friends and yet these monsters just destroy him and it angers me and saddens me so much. Seeing my brother when I 10 and he was 16 just going through hell and I could never help him. I could only watch and stay by his side and make sure it's okay. I just want my brother from them I want him to claim his crown and just give me a hug one day. I'd kill for a day he'll tell me he doesn't have to deal with it for the rest of his life. But it's not gonna happen. Right now he's actually a National guard taking medicine so he's doing so much better but man this song really does hit me.
