I haven't listened to the song for a while, but it might be a sound effect in the main song. It quite possibly is based on that, since the sing does have a sort of desolate/wasteland tone to it. However I'm no music expert, I'm afraid I can't give you a solid answer outside of: I didn't add anything when editing the song
