I think many of our generation can relate to this. Even fictional characters really. with all this pressure on our shoulders: From school, parents, social media, and many other places, it's just hard to find peace. Everyone wants an outlet for these kinds of things, but not many are able to find one. Maybe from parents, or personal struggles, not everyone can find an outlet for their emotions. So, they'll do a 'Silent Scream', lash out, or even resort of health damaging issues. I, personally, have dealt with these issues before, and I didn't have an outlet. So, I'd lash out, bottle my emotions, and I never actually told anyone my issues. I'm slightly better, with music and video games as my outlet. If anyone reads this, you're not alone. I can say this for a fact. Boys and girls, men and woman, we all are going through some sort of 'Silent Scream', even if we don't know it. No-one has a perfect life; no-one even is perfect. You're not alone in this.

This song hits too close for me. My parents are supportive of my choices, but its others around me who look down on me for what I want to do with my life. They think I should've become a teacher like my mother when all I want to do is become the best music therapist I can so that I can help others with one of my favorite things in life. Many people in my family think I've made the wrong choice and try to direct me to other types of schooling to the point that all I want to do is scream. I've never lashed out, but my coping mechanism for such distress if just as harmful because I shut myself away from those who actually care.

I know that this isn't what the song is about, but as a trans guy this hits hard. I came out to my parents once but they just acted quite awkward and went back to deadnaming and using wrong pronouns. It made me doubt myself, so i went back to being a girl and convinced myself until a couple months ago when I realised that wasn't what i wanted at all. I still havent come out to my parents yet, but I'm slowly learning to accept myself with music as my main form of stress relief. Music like this really hits hard and I'm glad it exists

I hide myself behind a fictional hero based character whos ripping himself apart from his past, its miraculous how simular your main oc is to yourself and you dont actually realize it. I love writing stories and stuff but i never realized how simular my character was to me, i always wanted to be like him but in the end, he was me and once that was pointed out by about 3ish friends i realized it wasnt far off from the truth, most of his past is like mine, as well as his way of thinking and hope for a better future. Wheather you draw or write, you always have your stories laced into it, sometimes its just too hidden for even you to see. My silent scream is my character, my physical scars, as well as my tears at night. This song is the exact same thing i am, even today with some achievements, i still hear everyone calling me a failure. With so many people i help, i still see those i couldnt save. And even while being in a relationship i cant help but hate myself for failing the one person i loved who took their life while carrying my child. No matter how much good there is ill always have the bad leering over me, but that is ok, all while i see it as my punishments, they are also lessons engraved in my mind. The only way you will make progress is by pushing through failure.

I listened to this song when I was in a dark place before. (Don't worry, I'm alright now!). But even since, I didn't like this song because of that. However, I have a character named Syliphy that relates to this so much. She is a demon-arctic fox (not anthropomorphic) and her parents want to collect emotional energy from others so they send Syliphy to a school to get that energy. She ends up making friends that help her through this and she realized that she needed help. I'll use this song for her. To anyone who is struggling, it can be hard to ask for help but please go to someone you trust and tell them what's going on. You're not alone, things will get better! Trust me!

This song is heavily relatable....a....former friend of mine made me feel this way for so long. And when I tried opening up to her about certain things I felt all this time....She unfriended me. Just as I feared she would, which is why I kept my mouth shut on a majority of things I wanted to scream out about my concerns, my feelings, my thoughts, wanting her to understand my side of things mattered too.
