Because, if you get past something like 20/20/20/20/20 mode (as Markiplier did), you'll see that he says something like his FATHER had been in a springlock accident and sent Michael to go find his little sister, the one who Baby killed, and I think free her? But that might just be a theory of mine, Since Michael was the kid who had his frontal lobe bitten out by Fredbear, but the evidence is there throughout the game.

Honestly the purple guy isn't the one who deserves the fate of springtrap. The children kill way more people than he does AND the PG could actually have a legitimate mental disorder. Regardless he admits to feeling guilty(in this song anyway) something we know the children don't share. All in all if anyone in the game deserved to get a good ending it's him. Either permanent death or medical treatment for his disease.
