RosePetalProductions same is true for water fountain, cause it really captures the pitch which really brings out the pain and agony in it (and possibly the faster rhythm as well). Personally, I think paper crown is better unnightcored cause Benjamin’s slower rhythm (I think that’s word for it) goes well with the melody, better than the nightcore version

my interpretation of this song i think is focused on "jenny" who represents a woman who fell in love with the "wolf" which represents the wrong man. The man lied to her, said that he'd stay and keep on loving her forever. Then they got married and have kids, and that's when things start falling apart, but she can't leave because they're already married and they have kids, if they divorce, it'll just make the situation worse for her and her kids. She swore to stay with a man who broke their promise, and now she's trapped by that empty promise.

Ok am i the only one who says the song is about Jenny a 19 year old sadist, who tried to summon a demon and ended up finding one, she than fell in love with him and realized she would age & die one day. The demon than told her a way to "live forever" and she decided to trust him and make a "contract", the terms being he had to find a way to make her live forever with him, not knowing selling her soul was the price. Though once he took her soul she than lived on inside him because that way the contract hadnt been broken. Making sense of the lines "THE WOLF WORE THE SHEEP AS A PERFECT DESGUISE" "SHE NEVER KNEW THE PRICE" "CAUSE SHE NOT DYING" "A BIT OF BITTER PLEASURE" & "SILLY LITTLE GIRL TRYING TO LIVE FOREVER." all in the demons point of view looking back at his most previous victom My second theory would be instead of she lived on inside him he tried to steal her soul killing her in the prosses and ending up making her a demon still being bound by the contract swerving the perspective a little because now rather than the demon being the victom, Jenny now cursed him by making him obide by there contract and spending forever with her cursing them both. Sort of becuse I think she went to a carnaval and she met this man who run one of the rides and she asked for immortality and he said yes. In exchange he wanted her soul she agreed and a boy was also there and wanted the same. They became immortal and we're trapped in the area of the carnival grounds. They took on jobs (she took on one on the carousel hense the song) and highly regretted there desision they went back and begged him to get rid of the curse he wouldn't. They diddent have full control of themselves so occasionally they would trapped ppl on the rides. In my mind this happend early victorian times in england and are still trapped.

@Daniel S wtf lol. there is always more than one path in life, unless you live in the late 1600s no one is going to call you a witch unless they're brain dead retarded. immortality != witch... demi god maybe. but after a while you would have amassed so much knowledge (if you actually did something worthwhile instead of being an immortal academically stale couch potato.) people would me more likely to fear and idol you. its not an all or nothing thing. eventually you would be able to live with the deaths of people you care about because you know its inevitable. you would be able to help them to have a better life by giving them valuable tips on how to deal with certain situations. your more likely to find a way to make money and be rich than to be poor or middle class forever.
