Reminds me kind of if it was this adventure in the 14th century (but it's this lord of the rings kind of universe so it's not about the plauge) about a pair of siblings trying to run away but they argue about going back or not, so the girl who wanted to not go back runs away when the chours comes. And she just keeps running until she finds another home.
