If you want to cap easily down to zero line, just take out one of screw from cap( turret cap bolts also build o-ring and create to inside air pressure when pushed down).

Just set it a few mills befor and your good to go for minor corections

ok question. i bought a Barrett mrad , Nightforce 7-35 f1 tremor. and a Spuhr mount. have not shot it yet. my concern is i didnt realize the barrett had a 10 MIL base already. i ordered the Spuhr mount with 13 MILLs. for a total of 23 mills. the scope clears but it might be a bit too much. im wondering if i will be able to zero at 100 yards. 23 mills is like over 80 inches at 100 yards. yikes please anyone with info on this will be greatly appreciated.

Theres plenty of mil adjustment left in the scope to zero at 100. Give it a go you should be fine

This is precisely why I bought the Tangent Theta with a much simpler approach and no tools required. If you pay that much money you do not want to mess with jimmy rigging like this. TT has a much more elegant solution.

Jimmy rigging? You literally set your zero once or twice. If you are reseting your zero all the time, you need to learn how to set a zero.
