I just got back from a week of church camp and this video blew up like crazy, so here’s a couple of things: 1. I love FNAF 3 and don’t think it needs fixing. I just know that fnaf 3 is generally considered to be mediocre and this game answers some of the classic critiques of the original. 2. People definitely think that FNAF 3 is a mediocre game, and I'll give it a 7/10. it doesn't have a good gameplay but for me it's really fun, but 10/10 in lore expansion and overall lore, i think majority of people think of 3 has the best lore expansion and well lore. the way we're just facing the creator of Freddy's is just a thrill-seeking experience. the best and lore out of every game, the first 3 games are a gem no one will ever waste. masterpieces

Personally i like the more atmospheric slow pace for fnaf 3, i think the insanity of FNAF 2 takes too much away from the horror, the original just needs tweaks to the jumpscares more variation to the gameplay and difficult tweaks

One of the biggest things about FNAF 3 Plus was the changed jumpscares and while I definitely think Springtrap's is better from a shock factor standpoint (though I like his original from the lore perspective) I really can't get behind making the Puppet's the same as all the other phantoms. There was something so unique and charming about Phantom Puppet's original "jumpscare" and I really miss it in this game :(

This looks FANTASTIC, but I have one small detail I would add to springtraps jumpscare. It’s a little odd how he just shoots up from below, mostly because he comes through the door. So I pictured when he gets you, you can see him come through the door, but it’s fast so it’s not super noticeable but it’s still startling, especially if you have the control panel up and just see him throw himself at you. Note: I have not finished the video, but I did see the jumpscare. Ill change this comment if I see something else!

I think It was intentional, but i think his slow jumpscare ia because springtrap is posessed by an adult male (william), as opposed to children. If you think about it, the reason the other animatronics jumpscare the way they do, is because a childs way of scaring someone is by getting all up in their face and screaming. Unlike the other animatronics, William doesn't feel the need to be overtly scare you. He just wants to kill you, and remains calm and collected while doing so.

Fnaf 3 never was broken, so it didn't need fixing. FNAF3 Plus is more of an alternative than a better version. Also, the jumpscare just takes away the point of the OG one. The point was that Afton wasn't a mindless animal, and so he didn't scream in the player's face. The fangame could have made it more like Afton roughly grabs the player, and doesn't just 'reeeee' in their face. It would still be scary.

i think my biggest issue with fnaf 3 was the phantoms. ideally you should have the player get jumpscared as little as possible because every time it happens it gets a little less scary. with the phantoms constantly screaming at you the whole night, it desensitized the jumpscares and ruined the cold tension that builds before a jumpscare

No, that would be FNaF Plus, which is developed by Phisnom. This is FNaF 3 Plus, developed by a completely different person. Because of this, said person does not have the permission to recreate FNaF 3. Though in this situation its closer to Open Source, which was a FNaF 2 Remake. FNaF 2 Open Source at first glance looks like it plays the same as FNaF 2 and is therefore a free version of FNaF 2. Once you look closer, its obvious that Open Source ISN'T FNaF 2. The gameplay is vastly different and the only thing keeping it as "FNaF 2" is the mechanics at play, and the animatronics. Other than that, Open Source is not FNaF 2. Yet it was taken down by Scott for piracy, despite not actually getting you FNaF 2 Free. This game at first glance looks exactly like FNaF 3, but once you dig deeper the gameplay is much different. So no, this isn't illegal. But not because Scott is supporting it, because it isn't FNaF 3. Tl:dr this isn't illegal but scott isn't supporting it

I enjoy the graphic upgrade, but trying to change the mechanics ruins a lot of what I enjoyed about the game and fnaf in general. You’re never really put in a lose lose situation in fnaf unless you directly contributed to causing it through mistakes. The puppet/Freddy mechanic does just that and makes it so if you get unlucky and both show up, there’s basically no point in trying to stop either because it’ll be easier for you just to keep doing your things and play around it. In Fnaf 3, while it’s hard, it’s entirely possible to play the game without a single jumpscare due to how it is. In this version it seems basically impossible to do that

FNAF 3 is easily the best of the original 4 games, in my opinion. 1 was great, but the Cams ultimately dissolve into the Pirate Cove camping. 2 is easily the WORST, nearly all animations are dealt with in the same exact way, isn't really scary at all, Foxy is the definition of a gameplay mechanic being more annoying than fun, and you only ever need to look at the Prize Corner. FNAF 4... Might be better than 3, actually. FNAF 3 will always have you look through every cam, the phantoms aren't nearly as copy + paste as FNAF 2 animatronics, the atmosphere is amazing, and what it did for the lore is immensely important. Yeah, it has issues with it being rather easy and the Springtrap jumpscares being mid as all get out, but the atmosphere and horror it provides is the best in the series... FNAF 4 might be better.

I like the intention but personally, I don't think this is it. It's neat to have "improved" graphics, but the atmosphere is much less palpable in the new version. Similarly, while the camera static in the original was a bit too much, completely removing it and making the screens shake violently looks worse. (Also not a fan of including helpy, why would he be there?) Gameplay wise, ripping off the music box concept doesn't work for me. It's just an artificial chore to give you something to do, which was fine for 2 but copying it again is contrived. 3 didn't need to be the same as 2, that's part of what I like about it. As for Springtrap's design, it is a subjective matter, but the original design was better for me. Mainly the eyes being too small and close on this version, makes it look a bit goofy. And I can't see enough improvements to justify it. And while it's a novel concept, I don't enjoy the idea of wasting the players time making them rewatch the same uneventful cutscene for the 20th time. Having to restart a night is punishment enough. All that, plus the game being half broken, and virus ridden. I'd say it's a step down in my opinion. (Sidenote: despite various justifications, i do agree the original jumpscare could use fixing, but i dont think this game pulls it off either.)

y'know why's this video called "The Fangame that ALMOST Fixed FNAF 3" when the fangame itself is arguably way more flawed & poorly designed then the og fnaf 3? Like for all it's issues fnaf 3 gameplaywise was already pretty darn solid, so the fangame making all of these random mechanical changes just makes the gameplayloop work a LOT worse overall. The main example of this is being phantom freddy, they literally took what was an already fine & simple mechanic and managed to both overcomplicate it through the blinds while also managing to make it conflict with a seperate mechanic through the puppet. Like. why.

Night 6 is designed to be played in a certain way so the phantoms don't kill you and give you an unfair advantage

If this game gets updated, gets no virus, does a roblox mario obby copyright trick where they pretend its not mario but it pretty much is, and makes oxygen/ mangle/ bonnie to teh game, plus i think phone clals and minigames, then yes, I will say it makes FNAF 3 a fun experience and if those are all fixed, the whole FNAF fandom including me should replace FNAF 3 with it so that newer fans have a fun experience with it.

Actually the Phantom Bonnie is hiding in Ventilation just for blocking your vision and help Springtrap to get to the office easier, so that’s why we never see it jumpscare the character

Phantom Bonnie IS in the game. He blocks your view of seeing Springtrap in the vent cameras. He’s pretty rare, but sadly, he has no jumpscare yet.

The only time I catch a jumpscared leading me off guard in FNAF 3 is if I some how in the long time it take for spring trap to jumpscared never look over to the left side of the office and even then he just kinda waddles up to u💀💀💀 FNAF 3 was pretty important to the series in my opinion but the actual gameplay... It could be better like u can just keep springtrap in 2 rooms all night and since I don't play FNAF 3 that often I can't remember if there is a power thingy but if there is it's hardly anything to worry about and I like the whole systems going offline but I don't like u can't do anything if u accidentally pick the wrong one and also they take way to long especially if springtrap is getting close to ur office by the time the system has rebooted *mainly cameras* springtrap is staring at u already and is prob gonna jumpscare u and I just realized I said my thoughts of FNAF three in a comment section

Phantom Bonnie will appear in the vents and have a seizure.... if you get an oxygen error. I think that's only what he's capable of doing For Phantom Mangle, I have never seen them in the fangame
