I think I chose the same ruin as my base, but I was kicking myself when I got to the POI just north of there, which is a nice little spot in the woods with crop plots and convenient fae chests and a cool fallen hollow pillar.

Loving Realms Rebuilt it was good experimenting but this is what Nightingale should be. You can tell when friends get to the second Story Realm as they are giggling and going WEEEE! :)

If you had talked to the NPC, Graeme Turner first, you would have gotten some of the recipes for free. Also, on the map there are locations marked, A Treasured Item, where you can find an item or scroll, and it will unlock a pattern for free.

Another quick tip with base building is consider a little bit in advance what you plan to do and need. 1 big thing of importance that I found was a basement. Having a basement ensures you have somewhere that's generally well protected and centrally located that's also not obstructive. Best use for it is a large, organized, storage room that can sit right underneath your workshop, allowing you to pull any materials you need at any workstation, and have a convenient place to put everything back whete its dedicated to 1 thing. In my case though, I mightve slightly over did the storage room, but that just means I'll never run into a situation ever again where i'll not have somewhere to store stuff, even if I ran into other players sometime in the future and we all shared my base.

One thing I've noticed most of the tier1 stuff you can get for free just by following the quests you get and then you can use your points on stuff the game doesn't unlock for free like the tanning rack for example.

10:13 you can double click the blueprints to unlock them, you dont need to click on the bottom right. Just found that out .

When the original game was first announced, I was very much looking forward to it all. Now that it has been out and refined, I am still on the fence about it. The look and detail are wonderful, but the tediousness makes it seem like a full time job. 😞 And no, I have never played any game of this type before. Perhaps it is just not for me. Oh well. Thank you for this wonderful look at the new version - nice work!

How do you upgrade the rarity of gear now? Used to have upgrade stations we could build but haven't found anything similar since the update?

Rarity? You mean Gear Score or item level? Use higher level mats

You don’t have an upgrade table anymore. Now you use better materials basically when you find them

I haven't tried this yet but I did notice when taking out enemies around their spawner they were dropping essence, so why not farm them for essence for a while before you destroy the spawner?

You can indeed do this for an infinite farm. Specific cards boost this effect to make it even more efficient!

I just picked up the game this week, but so far that seems totally unnecessary. Just covering the map, knocking out POIs and hunting along the way, I'm swimming in essence. I did take the essence charm loadout, though.

How easily can you tank in this game? Or does most combat require kiting mobs? Thanks for the video!

I kite around and stay alive mainly by putting health enchantments on my armor and having a healing ability on my main weapon. The big guys with swords do so much damage but you can block p much all damage with a blocking weapon if you get the timing down. Your follower npc is more of a tank usually

I'd kite, tanking feels weird but there are things that reduce dmg taken based on hunger and mobs around you. Check out the Charms, some are pretty interesting! You can also craft Max HP gear to make that even easier based on resources used

I'm having issues getting all my excellent crafting stations to except all t3 augments to max gear or weapons or cooking etc. How to you max augments?

You want to unlock all those Augments from the Progression menu (while there are also cards that remove the requirements of Augments in general, so they're always at 'optimal' conditions)

How are you supposed to upgrade gear score after getting to 20? I've already gotten to the next realm after Abeyance but the level for harvesting stuff there is 25

You should use higher quality resources like better hides, lumber and ore. Not necessarily the 25 ones, but stronger animals give better loot too. Each tool also comes with upgrades at each tier. For example a Tier 2 and Tier 2+ variant u can unlock in the progression tab. Those will get u higher level tools faster as well

I finished the Tutorial realm and walked through my first portal. The Game is fun so far, but what i don't understand: is there no option to transfer my whole camp from the first realm to the second and again transfer the same camp over a realm map? Like at once human "relocate territory". At least my inventory boxes would be nice to transfer. Does anyone have a plan how to manage inventory with the last update? Kind regards, ❤

How do I make this purity potion for sylvans site of power? Says i need a holt bloom, and i have no idea what that is. Its not even on their own website item page.

This indeed is a tricky one, now that you can craft Tier 2 tools, you should make a Sickle with ingots found, this one should be lv 25+ and that allows you to farm Tier 2 (lv 25 req) resources. Holt blooms are these orange/flowery plants found only at some places in the forest of that second realm you visit, use the sickle to harvest them ^^
