Agreed, I'll definitely be playing mostly in first person, because I think it'll be more immersive for things like exploration etc. But it will be nice to be able to look at our characters, with how cool they look so far, and might be helpful when like, building and such sometimes.

I was wondering about it, since I'm definitely a 3rd person mode fan! I love horror and adventure games in 3rd person. so when Nightingale's trailer's out, I'm like, this is the game I want! but when saw it's fps, I backed off a bit. Now, with this news, nothing would stop me preordering!

Great! Not that i needed it, but its always nice to have a better angle on things. I hope ppl acknowledge the work that takes. If anyone is interested google or youtube vids that show what games without original third person mode look, with overhead view. You only see the arms and feet moving. The rest is some weirdass pixel mashup the player doesnt see anyway. Meaning all of this needs to be animated. I said in January that its gonna be atleast christmas till ye release, lets see if im right, i hope its gonna work out for you guys and i get alot of updates and patches in the future cause of that ! My wallets waiting to be thrown at you! Peace

It would be really neat to make it at the change of one bottom like fallout because I love 3rd person for exploring and first person for combat but either way I appreciate the effort and I’m looking forward for this game I might buy it multiple times for myself and my cousins after I try it out.

Please can you guys add weapon melee skills and a feature to recruit npcs so we can have some followers with us and when we build a camp so it don't look so lifeless. Similar like Conan exile would be really great! and maybe a shapeshifter skill where we can transform in some enemy creatures?

3rd person mode is a great addition, but I would prefer it not to be right behind the character. Ideally the player could determine the horizontal and vertical position. Within reasonable limits of course. There are lots of great examples from shooters over rpgs to mmos.

3ª pessoa tinha que ser uma regra de todos os jogos. Milhões de pessoas não podem jogar em 1ª pessoa por conta de vários fatores como doenças de cinetose, labirintite etc. Deveriam colocar essa regrinha pra quando uma pessoa produz um jogo. Parabéns aos desenvolvedores que implementaram a 3ª pessoa no jogo.
