I am not native American but I love these two rappers 1 because their wraps are clean. 2 because they don't talk about drugs. 3 because they don't look like thugs 4 because they don't have big booty women running around half naked in their videos. And last but not least 5 they're very talented not only can they rap they can act. That is so awesome and honorable that you guys don't drink, don't smoke, and are celebit. One of my coworkers is native--well, he prefers the term indigenous--and he will frequently talk about the reservation that his family grew up on--Walpole Island in Canada. He has a lot of "old school" morals and values too, which you don't find in a lot of people today. He is also celebit. He's 28, but I tell him that he is "an old soul," meaning that he is very, very wise for his age. He has dual citizenship--USA and Canada. There are 3 tribes/nations that live on the reservation. His family is Anashinabe/Algonquin. He was talking about how the reservation his family lives on is overrun with drugs, esp. methamphetamine, and how he grew up poor. He was also talking about the boarding schools, and how there is a monument/memorial/shrine there for the abused children/children that died. People frequently leave a shoe at the memorial to honor the children that died. He said that the nuns would punish the children so severely that some of them would die. Truly sad! Yes, I agree with you.....if a person's religion teaches them to be racist and hate, that is not of God because "....God is love." 1 John 4:8 Love you guys!!! I wish you all the best!!!❤❤❤
