What that old timey saying means is that in certain situations like the one in the meme is that it was one big scam that had to be pulled off by two parties in conjunction with each other even though it would easily appear to be simply cause and effect/action and reaction

4:43 Guns will fire in space; gunpowder has a built-in oxidizer. The real question is, how many times will it fire before seizing? In a micro gravity environment, like in space, the gun oil used to maintain proper functionality would bead and not provide the lubrication it should. Or the weapon could fall victim to the extreme temperature, low or high (in direct sunlight), and lock up.

modern firearms do indeed work in space, as they use their own oxidizer.

@@TheLittleNoobThatCould a firearm will not have anymore recoil force than normal, it's effect could be more noticeable as there isn't air resistance. There's no extra force in comparison by bringing it in a vacuum. I'll try to do some research...

@@TheLittleNoobThatCould the Kyle Hill video accused the expansion of gasses from the explosion, but there is no atmosphere to push against, only the bullet, likely canceling out to usual recoil, potentially reduducing it. Kyle probably just took the information from the old military documents, he doesn't list a source so idk.

2:35 This is actually for good reason. Technically, medication is toxic (directed toxicity to be more precise, but toxic nonetheless) and the functional substances in it are often derived from plants and thus inherently bitter. Why not add something to improve it some may wonder; again, for good reason as such substances may interfere with the functionality of the medicine.
