Hey, that tea vendor meme at 3:13 is mine. It didn’t get a lot of upvotes when I posted it on every single meme subreddit a while ago, but seeing it on Memenade Dark Mode now, I’m really happy.

At 4:34, as a Canadian, this meme embarrasses me, as that is our current prime minister, before entering politics, being a jerk by darkening his skin for his own amusement. No, I did not vote for him, but it still embarrasses me that he is our prime minister. At 7:52, this is why I always ask if we are still allowed to laugh at Bill Cosby jokes, before I repeat them. [loosely related tangent] During WWII, the nazis conducted research into how being immersed in cold water led to death. This research led to increased survival of Luftwaffe pilots forced to ditch in the North Sea. Since WWII, this research has been used to protect the lives of fishermen and offshore oil and gas platform workers, by helping design their survival suits. The moral conundrum about using this research comes from how the nazis collected the data, by immersing concentration camp inmates in tubs of ice water and tracking their vital signs as they died. As ice was expensive, the researchers saved money by using children as test subjects.[/loosely related tangent]
