There is a way to remove the watermarks. Simply, create your meme, but add a bit of space at the bottom. Then, once you download it, crop the bottom where the watermark is, and you have yourself a watermarkless meme.

Aight with the whole football thing may people finally get the answer as to why it's called that: American Football was made from Rugby Football witch of course came from "Fooootbool". Thus American Football (Alt title: Gridiron Football. Named after how the field looks like a gridiron/grill.) It's a gametype of a gametype of the base gamemode if you will. *to use Halo as a Reference SWAGNUMS is from SWAT witch is from Slayer. "Why American Football" American Football stuck as it's still the equivalent of being the only AAA Studio making it (Think how instead of a "FPS" back then it was "DOOM Clones") where outside the US being indie studios [Like Germany's league, Japan's X-League, and China's CNFL. with Canada's CFL being like a AA Studio.] Hopefully that clears that up.

Plus the word "Football" can be used to describe any *Ball* game played on *Foot.* The term was originally invented to distinguish it from mounted ball games like Polo... so yes any ball game played on foot could technically be called football and be grammatically correct, however if it's not played on foot then it's be definition not football.
