Chilean here. I grew up in a dictatorship because Nixon didn't want a socialist president at the other extreme of the continent, even if he had been legitimately elected. We have the largest Palestinian colony in the continent. Do you really think that what your country does or does not at the other side of the world can't possibly affect you? I videoed Imaculata's practices and games when they won the national championship. I played thousands of hours of basketball but the Imaculata players were obsessed and it taught me never to quit. This was in the 1970's and the women players worked harder then any men's team I filmed or watched.
