Filming started: 19th April 1960 Release date: 29th Sept 1961. The exterior scenes were filmed: Berkshire, U.K Hammer horror actually goes back to 1935, one of the founding brothers was William Hinds a comedian & businessman. Will's stage name was "Will Hammer" his surname, came from Hammersmith where he lived. Hinds is a family run & national chain of 100 jewelry shops in the U.K.

And an electrical job. At 1:01:55 she enters the room with a candle, her head weirdly moves. She turns on the lights and you see the ceiling shot with no lights on. Then across the room same overhead lights are off. The end you see 2 lights on the wall are off. This all takes place in less than a minute. Creepy. 😂😂
