Nightmare Before Christmas Diamond Select Complete Collection!!! with Series10 & Previews Exclusive!

Hi KZbin Welcome back to Duncan the collector. In this video I have a special Halloween guest, Mom the Collector. And she’s here to share her favourite collection Tim Burton and Disney’s the nightmare before Christmas, diamond select toys series one through nine, and a special sneak look at the brand new series 10 with an extra previews exclusive Toy. All your favourite characters are here like Jack Skellington and zero. Sally and Dr. Finkelstein with his new wife jewel And of course Igor. Oogie boogie’s here too with the terrible lock shock and barrel. Sandy claws will be happy to see his wife is finally here in series 10. Mrs. clause is accompanied by a choir elf, corpse mom, corpse dad and Mr. Hyde, And a previews exclusive creature under the stairs and cyclops. Finally Halloween can last all the way to January!

That’s great. Do you have a favourite collection? Obviously, I’m a huge fan of nightmare before Christmas but I also really enjoy little statues called furry bones and I also like the tragic toys for girls and boys by Tim Burton.

Oh thank you, I will pass that along to my mom. I think my favourite is a Harley Quinn demon, I just really like the design. Are you a big fan of nightmare? What would your favourite character be? Yes my mom wrote the script and thought she did a really good job. She is pretty funny, even on purpose sometimes! Ha ha.

@@duncanthecollector7495 yeah Harley Quin Demon is a really good charecter LOL yeah I LOVE Nightmare Before Christmas, it is my number 1 favorite movie of all time!!! I watch it alot And to answer your question: as you can tell by my prophile pic, my favorite charecter is The Mayor!! I even made an oc inspired by him Yep she is very funny LOL

Hi there thanks for watching. Actually my mom made that from scratch. She started with a sheet of quarter inch MDF and painted the entire background orange and then sketched out the characters she wanted with pencil. Once she was happy she painted that all black. She says it wasn’t that hard and that you should give it a try. Send us some pictures if you do. We would love to see what you come up with.

Also there’s lots of images on Google for reference. to make it easier a good trick is to sketch out some of the images you like on pieces of blank paper then once you’re happy you can cut them out then place them and trace them.

Thank you I’m glad you enjoyed it. Sorry for the late response but we used a piece of 1 1/2 inch dowel that we stained dark gray and then we had to put a larger diameter piece at the top and bottom so it was more stable. I always thought Diamond select should’ve put some thing there for him, but this was an easy fix. I hope that helps. Take care.

Great video & collection,please can you tell me if there are some scale differences between the Diamond select and the Neca brand ..or with others collectibles NBC figures..? And wich NBC collectibles action figures are your favorite and well made ? I'm just thinking start a collection ..Greetings from France !

Thank you, I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I find the Neca brand toys run quite a bit smaller than the Diamond Select but I don't think that they look weird next to eachother even though the scale is different. The Neca toys come with more accessories but the Diamond Select have some awesome set pieces like the fountain or graveyard if you have the room to display them. Both brands seem to be pretty well made. Some of the smaller figures and their stands are a little frustrating because they tip over easily but other than that I haven't had any issues. Any of the Jack toys will be a bit delicate just because his limbs are so thin but I've never broken anything. I really love the Harlequin, Cyclops, Bat Boy, Lock Shock and Barrel and the Jack Graveyard set but honestly they're all amazing. I would grab anything you can get your hands on, you really can't go wrong. Who are your favourite NBC characters? 🎃

@@duncanthecollector7495 i always love "nice cartonnish monsters"and puppet like since kid..yes all creatures are great ,but werewolf,witches,Mr&Mrs Santa ,Jack Santa clothing are my fave..yes some pieces(legs)looks very fragile too,maybe make some wood bases with extended diorama.. Now here in France ,have to do some research to the shops,because NBC'sfigurines are hard to find with no expensive prices.. Years before i saw also the complete collection of Muppet Show action figures to a friend,very nice too..thanks for your answer😊.

@@jorey4565 I like "nice monsters" too, that's a great way of wording it! I think making wood bases or dioramas is a great idea, that's something I'd like to do in the future. I love the Muppets, especialy Animal and Gonzo, that's a really fun collection. I have another collection I'd like to share of figures called Fury Bones, you might like those as well. You should Google them and let me know if you'd like us to make that video right away. They're all kinds of different animals with spooky skeleton faces, they're very cute.

He came in a two pack from diamond select called Wolfman and melting man. We got him at a local comic store but I’m sure you can find them online.

I would really like if they could make the snake that eats the christmas tree, it reminds me of a sandworm from the Beetlejuice movie. Out of the sets that they've already made that I don't have yet I'd really like the Oogies Lair set, it glows under black light, you should check it out if you haven't seen it yet. It's super cool. What would your pick be?
