I've got so many health problems and it's started to deteriorate my brain too. I use NK Grimm fight to keep me sharp since it's a fight that almost 100% rely on reflex and quick thinking. A weird suggestion that might not work for your style, but I'd love to hear your "atmospheric metal" interpretation of some of HK's area music. 8 Bit Music Theory did an amazing deep-dive on the city of tears theme, and I do wonder what a different instrumentation might do to it. There's also the fact that you could essentially do a "let's play" of the game by arranging the entire OST into the order one would hear them when playing through the game, including boss themes and backtracking. That's a huge project for the entire game, but it might be neat to hear for just one zone. Just my thoughts on neat stuff to do if you ever feel like playing a different metal subgenre.
