I think that's just the idea of doing something incredible, even if it might have been wrong. I mean, a lot happened to Jack on that Christmas Eve apart from almost ruining Christmas. He rediscovered who he was, met Santa and ultimately brought the worlds of Chrismtas and Halloween together, defeated Oogie Boogie, and fell in love with Sally. Wouldn't you repeat those mistakes if they had those outcomes?

Actually, I wrote a fanfic a few years ago. Her name was Willow. She was five years old and I believe she started dating Barrell. She looked identical to Jack but had Sally's hair lol.

Collato When Disney bought the rights of the movie, the team wanted to make a sequel entirely made in CGI instead of using stop motion. I heard that Burton then begged them not to make that, and so the project was deleted. Luckily, I guess. In CGI it wouldn't be the same.
