This song reminds me of simpler times, or childhood. When my mother would take my siblings and I outside in the backyard during the evening to go on our swing set and watch the fireflies. We would lay around in the grass and giggle as we rolled down the hill. We would pick baby breaths that would grow there and give bushels and bushels of them to mom. She would later tuck me in my bed sheets and switch on my nightlight. We would exchange hugs and kisses before my vision would go black from falling asleep. These simpler times are what I miss the most. We moved from that house and where we are has no hill, no fireflies, no babybreaths, no simplicity.

this reminds me of being rested and snuggled up inside during Christmas time with the Christmas tree up, drenched in multi colored lights and glittery ornaments. my sister and i got this game around Christmas, and it was the only thing we played in December. this reminds me of laughing with my sister about a glitch in the game, or when a comic relief scene would pass and we would laugh our asses off. this reminds me of adventuring out in the woods with my sister, my girlfriend, and her brother. this reminds me of being at peace with them, not caring about a thing in the world.

​​@@seid3366they did make the Dream Wheel arcade in 2018 but its only in California and Japan, but they also recently posted new NiGHTS art on the JP SEGA accounts for Christmas 2023, so perhaps SonicTeam was finally given the go and they're teasing us, or I'm just that desperate for a new game T_T

Never played this game.. I actually only ever seen this character in Sonic DX during the pinball section in the Casino stage. This tune was sampled by Squadda b, an artist from a group called Friendzone. The is song called "I miss yall" which I found recently.. makes me sad listening to it tbh as I recently found out Squadda b passed away a few years ago.. Both the ost and the song make me tear up for a few reasons: - its almost like a lullaby that soothes my inner youth, making me reminisce on being an innocent child... missing the times playing games with my bro, my sister, trips up to my Mom and Grandma's cottage, and spending time with my Dad... who isnt here with me anymore... - it also reminds me of my partner and her childhood.. - it makes emotional as I think about all of us.. even if I dont know you. Life is so precious... and as of lately it feels like its been flying by too quick... Sometimes the memories feel like they were yesterday... but now they feel like i've lived them in another life.... some thoughts I'd share as im smoking my spliff thinking about shit... Happiness, love, and contentment is what I wish for everyone Later you guys

While everyone is on the subject, I love the genderless factor of NiGHTS' character, as it is then entirely up to the players to interpret what they think (s)he is. As for my interpretation - due to her more feminine appearance and voice - I believe she is female. ^u^

1.This is actually my absolute favorite track in this game. 2.I still have my wii, so I think someday I'll get this game. 3.I've always had some interest in Nights when I first saw game pictures back in the 90s. 4.Thanks to Sonic Adventure DX, I kinda had the chance to play Nights for the first time on the pinball in the Casinopolis stage. 5.I always think of Nights being a female along time ago until I found out that Nights is genderless, but still view a female 'cause of purple, pink, eyes, voice, & bosom. 6.Sonic Team should make crossover game of Nights & Sonic & we see the two becoming extremely close. Oh my god what if Sonic Team makes Sonic shows signs of having a crush(which the hedgehog would deny) on Nights by making the hedgehog blush when watching her fly around looking all beautiful & magical, have sweet dreams about her, & asking Nights out on a date with chili dogs while this pretty track plays? 7.I'm a SonAmy fan, but for crossover I like SonIghts,(SonicXNights) also just imagined Sonic giving Nights a kiss. 8.I kinda hope that someday I'll voice Nights when I pursue my lifelong voice-acting career.

TETSUSakura91 *****, I hope your dreams come true. It would be great to hear more voices on TV or the radio. It will happen once you believe in it. The universe sets interesting things in motion to make sure you have your happiness. I just started being a radio DJ and I love it very much. I thought it was something only idols or people with sky high confidence could do. But games like Nights made me realize that it's not such a pipe dream. I did my first show last week and I concluded it with this song as tribute. :)

so true.. but in game spot one of the positive points was the music which makes sence.. they're relaxing and they can put a smile on your face for no reason at all. Plus if they changed the music to rock or something, the games itself woudn't be the NiGHTS we always knew

The gameplay is nothing special, but the visuals, presentation, the fact that it makes you feel like a kid again, whimsical dreamy soundtrack, story and how it centers around dreams and environments you wish you lived in keeps you going! :P Klonoa is another example, except that game plays wonderfully!

I love the concept and everything except the gameplay. I was never able to get past the first gate as a kid but I still played it over and over just because I loved the concept so much. If they made a nights game now with Better gameplay I’m sure it would succeed

I'm curious to know why would the game be so unplayable, like you literally just move the stick in the direction you want to go and press a button. I know using the sensor bar with the Wii Remote is much more difficult but it's just a matter of getting used to (unless the sensor bar is terribly positioned and you have to raise your arms to aim)
