Great performance! Interesting how it has almost exactly the same melody in some bits as the post-verse instrumental in Russians by Sting... Anyone else notice this?

codebeard The origin of the melody line you cite is as the Romance theme from Lieutenant Kijé by Sergei Prokofiev (as indicated by Sting in the album liner notes). I never did notice the similarity to parts of this piece before, but now that you mention it, I wouldn't be at all surprised if Michiru Yamane was inspired by the same melody when she wrote this.

I know it's not necessarily easy to put these things up on Amazon or Loudr or something, but I think you might be losing out on a little money here. Wondering if it would be worth the effort for you to package them like that. I'm always looking for decent SotN covers and you have some of the best around YT (I've checked). I'm sure I'm not the only one who would put up $10 for a little album of them. But would it pay itself off?

accountfor1reason For many years I've been thinking about selling a CD but I don't think enough people would be interested in that. Also I'd need to create new covers for just the CD as I don't want to just put the KZbin versions on a CD for sale. And as every cover I make goes directly onto KZbin, I don't have any other versions. What's the name of the piano you use?

MrJack8700 The piano is a M-Audio Keystation Pro 88 but the sound comes from software on the computer called Ivory Keys. (The keyboard has no onboard sounds, it merely controls software of the computer.)

NightShader1 Do you know of any good keyboards with onboard sounds? I have this keyboard but it doesn't matter how soft you hit the keys, it will always sound the same.

MrJack8700 At this moment I don't really have a good knowledge of the current hardware on the market. Yamaha and Roland always were good brands that I've used. My first Yamaha keyboard was like yours with no velocity difference in the keys. In the specifications it'll list whether it has or no velocity in the keys.
