Post-Shading a 3-Tone German Camouflage! (Shady Jagdpanther 314)

My friends, let's try two things: painting with the new AK Real Colors and post-shading a Normandy-style German camouflage. Using the post-shading method on a single-colored model is extremely easy, but if you have a camouflage on top of it, things get more shady.

Martin Kovac, I'm no expert, you did well, but you should dull down the decals, as they are too bright, they should match the dullness of the camo, so that they dont look 'freshly' painted on. I usually use a coat of clear with a drop of the base colour and spray it over the decals to 'blend' them into the base colour, this creates a 'used' look and enhances the weathering. Thanks for your videos, I have watched them all. PetervanHorne.

@@AWarriorsQuest yeah, that's a myth. There are hundreds of photos of tanks serving in the last weeks of the war and they all still have the elaborate factory camouflages. They were even introducing new camouflages such as the Octopus scheme which is photographed on one of the last King Tigers built. Occupied factories after the war still had ample paint supplies and many spare parts. Things like rubber and special alloys where what the Germans were running out of. The Bovington Panther was built after the war under REME supervision in a captured factory. It's not a standard vehicle. And, remember that Bovington mislead people for decades with their fictional blue Caunter camouflage scheme. Only recently did they admit it was wrong...so be careful what you take away from museum pieces. Very few are in original condition :)
