I think you two have such an overlap in audience that there should be 2-3 KZbin or twitch videos together. Common guys. It’s 2021. Let’s get that KZbin money!

This is crazy! It's Master Eraqus himself! That's awesome that you got the creator of Final Fantasy for an interview!

Night sky sprince is trying to remain as calm as possible but you can tell he probably has a grin so wide you can see it from behind and its literally taking everything to prevent him self from runing around, screaming and yelling, jumping on his bed like a little school girl.

Great interview, really liked the negative-space / leaving room for interpretation idea. It's kind of similar to what no voice acting did too as you had to invent the voices in your head. Sakaguchis personality and humour always comes through in his games, need to get me an apple device to play on.

The background question sounds like nightmare they had to go through to come to the result they did for each background in the game, but it paid off in resulting in something really nice. Honestly, from the things we've seen (not so much from playing the game myself, yet) I would have thought that they just built the models and the batch of photos were enough to pop it in the game as is. I do like how developer focused this interview was as it resonates with me more on that front. But the opportunity for you guys to get this chance is just inspiring, none the less. Congrats brother!

0:30 How has working for Apple been like ? 1:53 How how do you feel about Fantasian's pre-rendered backgrounds ? ? Is it easier to create backgrounds this way ? 4:03 What do you think are the most important elements when creating a high quality RPG ? 6:10 You mentionned FF VI as a source of inspiration for Fantasian, what was so special about FF VI ? 8:58 You stated before that this may be your last game. Looking back, what are the most important lessons you've learned about creating games ?

I’m so happy you got this opportunity- -But I would’ve preferred to hear Sakaguchi himself and the representative gave you a translated transcript to use for subtitles, or the video be longer to accommodate Sakaguchi talking - Great work, N.S.P! ✌️

Sakaguchi's already done everything you could possibly hope to do as a developer. While some devs can only hope to make at least one influential game that will stand the test of time, Sakaguchi has several classics under his belt. God, do I wish he'd make one final (no pun intended) AAA-console JRPG, eventhough he understandably doesn't feel that need/desire anymore. It's just a selfish desire as a longtime fan of his brilliant work. I'm probably not alone in wanting that... Congrats on the interview, NSP! Wish you continued success and can't wait for your future FF16 coverage!

Amazing. Thank you for this. It amazes me how generous Sakaguchi san is with his time. There have been so many KZbinrs getting interviews with him lately. I get that this partly promotional on his part, for fantasian, but even so, its amazing how willing he is to talk to people. Such a humble guy. Must've been amazing from your point of view to talk to him as well. I would be lying if I said I wasn't a tiny bit jealous. 🙂

At first I thought, how well Sakaguchi speaks English, how strange for a Japanese. And then nope hahaha
@shinigamimiroku37233 жыл бұрын
Believe it or not, a lot of Japanese know at least some English, since it's the trade language of the modern world and many tourists come from English-speaking countries. Still, it definitely makes more sense to hire a translator for longer conversations like this, especially when your job doesn't demand constant use of multiple languages.
@OghuzKhaghan3 жыл бұрын
Japanese people know English but can't speak, because Japanese language is based on open syllables, English is opposite of that.
