It really is insane! Film blows digital out of the water with highlight recovery! Thank you so much Scott! :-)

I think the time mode makes it so that the shutter does not close unless you hit the button again. I could be way off though
@KelseySmithPhotography3 жыл бұрын
You would think so, but for some reason the shutter literally will not close unless you wind the next frame on. Really weird quirk, but it’s not the worst thing in the world! Thanks so much for watching Jason! :-)

Ohhh that shot at 5:34 was my fav. Also it was cool to see that shutter release wire. My dad has a few of those and I never got to see them in action. I liked your video and subscribed to your channel!

Thank you so much Darren!! :-) the shutter release cable is a life saver so I don’t shake the camera! I’m glad you enjoyed!!!

I think the alleyway shot at @11:13 was the best shot. The lighting just seems to really blow out on all the others so not really my style but you found some really great spots and compositions! Congrats.

Thank you so much for the feedback!! It was a bit of an experiment because I couldn’t find any reciprocity data, but I think I learned a lot about this film for next time! Thanks for the comment! :-)

Luckily this video was recommended as I'm planning on shooting some night shots with some friends. BTW, the manual for the Fuji GW690 says to change your shutter from T to 1 rather than using the film advance lever to trip the shutter as you can create a light leak to the next frame. Great stuff btw.

I have 2 that I use interchangeably, but the one I used in this video is just called “light meter” and the logo has a little plus and minus sign on it in the App Store!

Thanks for at least picking an iconic gas station & for owning the cliché. 😂. I don’t care if it’s a typical “film bro” thing, I fucking love it. Very nice night time shots.
