Okay, you’re a child who has been left home alone and you called your mom and told her that someone was trying to break into the house and she tells you that the birthday party was still going on? I’m calling BS to that. No way would a mother do that. Mom could have told the birthday mom there was an intruder trying to get into the home where her child was alone and asked if the brother could stay at the party until she comes back for him. But no way would she tell her son that the birthday party was still going on, tough luck kid.

What would stop 95% of these stories? 1: carrying a loaded firearm. 2: A good flashlight. 3: You're cell phone(hopefully your keeping this charged and no depending on It as a substitute for a good flash light). I've commented on this above. Lots of people saying, "yeah, there are parents who would do this" but I disagree. Even the worst parent isn't going to run the risk of their kid being abducted/ murdered, whatever because they're at a kid's birthday party. If the author had said, "my parents were out getting high/ wankered down the pub with their mates then maybe there are some deadbeats who might say that, but a kid's party? No. The story sound made up by a wannabe edgelord thirteen year old.

So i wasn't home alone but this has happened twice so I live on the first floor of an apartment complex and I have seen some older man (probably in his 60s) looking at me and my friend and the second time my step sis saw someone looking at us but what was that apparently they were wearing clothes like the cleaning people were but not a cleaning person and me and my little brother got chased by a guy while we were walking outside
