The first Nightwish song I heard on an indie metal channel. The opening melody hooked me and I've been a fan ever since.

One can say anything about the evolution of the band, the new melodies and the necessity to change, about Tuomas still being a genius and all of that. And I would agree with it. But damn, I miss old Nightwish so much.

@@nyckathenomad Honestly not. I see Tarja twice (with Nightwish and solo career), and she was really kind with everyone. She even share hugs with fans. First I though Tuomas was right, but he fired even Annette, so I start to think the truth is different

@@tomotomocacchiocacchio3180 I knew a guy long ago who had photos with Tarja sitting on the floor of the airport. Then, in 2004 I met the band for the first time and she RAN from the only girl in the airport who saw her. She left from a different door. The guys were talking to a group of maybe 15 people and she left through a different door and ran from the only girl who saw her. People told me in her solo career she’s nice. She knows she’s nothing without metal music. Still in 2004 she had a tour of her “Noches Escandinavas”, an opera show, and the place in Porto Alegre was crowded with fans of Nightwish! Tuomas is super nice. The other guys too. They never refused pictures, autographs, etc. In 2004 Marko stayed behind and took a while to get to the van because he wanted to talk to all the fans, he was aware of all the cameras, gave autographs to everyone. Emppu ran to the van but he talked to us through the window. She could do the same if she wanted. But she kept hiding inside the van. I only met Anette once, her first tour. She was very nice. But I don’t doubt she became picky with all the fame. Floor is very nice. I met her while she was singing with After Forever. There was a bodyguard asking us not to touch her and I thought she would be like Tarja but I asked her to sign my trousers and she sat on her knees to do it and was super cute. She only didn’t want hugs, kisses, etc because dutch ppl aren’t accustomed to this. Tuomas as the leader must know what he wants to the band. Considering they were all super nice and recognise the efforts of fans, arrogant ppl cannot have space in the band. @70011812 They don't keep changing vocalists. In 2007 Anette was anounced Nightwishs new singer and since then only Anette has sung in Nightwish (except for Marco of course). But I sort of had the same problem when I startet listening to them, because I didn't know in which order the albums had appeared.

In my personal opinion, all languages are difficult to learn if you have not grown up with them. I am an English speaker, but I don't think it is the easiest language, or the hardest. The easiest language is the one you grow up with. I'm sure Russian or Czech or Polish or whatever language it is will be difficult for those who speak another language with completely different letters (or characters) and totally different grammar structure. There is no single easiest or hardest language out there.

@rekkuza2000 japanese is very easy to pronounce (much more than english anyway) but the way the sentences fit together is pretty confusing (for instance they would say 'steel of heart', instead of 'heart of steel')
