I don't cry when I'm in physical pain, but I've cried over and over again listening to Dead Boy's Poem, Poet and the Pendulum, and many others. Nightwish is a powerful force that touches the heart in a profound way. I can never thank Tuomas enough for such a great gift, and all of Nightwish is incredible for conveying those emotions so well. Floor has done wonders for keeping that emotion alive in the vocals.

Hey there - I am 62, and not a soft one - but I am proud to say that Nightwish and especially Floor, can make cry. They make me feel music in way that very few other bands have ever been able to - so please do like me - accept the visit from the onion ninjas and be proud to show your emotions, it's healthy and just shows how careful you listen to the music. And they don't even have to use cellos! - a piano and Floor's voice techniques will bring you down. Floor actually did this 3 times in the TV-show Beste Zangers - the whole studio cried their hearts out - that's world class to have such a power - and that is Floor. I promise you that you have not seen and felt 50% of her yet - she will also make you scream of joy and happiness - and dance like a teenager. This is Nightwish - the band that plays your soul like a delicate harpe. Great reaction from you - again 👍 🤘 🤘 - and just admit it - you are addicted - like the rest of the Army 😉

The amazing thing that I never forget, but still amazes me when consciously think about it is this: Floor is singing Tuomas’s writing. Her capacity for empathy and ability to channel it when singing someone else’s heart and soul is matched by few others in the world of modern music. This also speaks volumes about Tuomas’s lyrical and musical composition; without that the performance would be dead before it began.

Just think! Nightwish has already brought out such strong emotions and you are only a few songs in! There are so many more emotions for you to experience and we get to ride along with you. I can’t wait! Eventually you’ll have to react to Floor on Beste Zingers or her covers she’s put up on KZbin. If you’re a fan of Heart she sings Alone and a lot of people feel it’s even better than the original (and the original is legendary). Shallow for another slow one, but make sure you’re ready! No need to apologize. We all have been there and continue to even after hearing these songs many times over. Floor said in an interview that she's an empath and feels all the songs she sings and this explains why many of us feel all the emotions she emanates on stage through her singing and sheer stage presence. It seems every song they perform is an emotional roller coaster and sometimes within each song as well. Keep up the great reactions and keep plenty of tissue nearby. The first time I every heard Nightwish -- the song was Ghost Love Score -- I had this same reaction. I had never had that kind of emotional reaction to ANY music I've ever heard. You are an exceptional person. You live an intense and emotional live. It was hard to see you breaking when the piano came in. Nightwish with Floor has a mysterious effect on people, especially those who are free to FEEL. I thought for a long time if it is all right to ask you for a comment on "the poet and the pendulum". It tells the story of the composer, keyboardplayer. He came in a deep depression when the first female lead singer had to leave the band and he made this masterpiece to get over it. This symphony is one of kind and Floor gives some thing special to it. Phenomenal, this band and their symfonies. Stay healthy and have a prosperous future.

One of my favorite songs my friend. It did it to me too and it still does every time! It can definitely be a bit overwhelming emotionally. It is very obvious that you are able to feel and experience music on a deeply emotional and spiritual level my friend. It is a gift and you should cherish it always. It speaks to our souls and touches us in those unreachable places deep inside. Nobody can take that away from you. Nurture it and keep it alive in your life. When asked what this song was about "Tuomas has said about this song, that it's about if he were to die tomorrow, what would he want to say to everyone that he loves, and that love him..." Notice the small boy on the screen reaching out to the flying swans on the screen. The swan is the guide to the afterlife in Finnish mythology. He is reaching out to implore them to take him with to the other side. She is a singer and has done records with her husband Tuomas and also Troy from Nightwish. The project is called "Auri". Bless you, we're all in it together. I may sometimes have a stiff upper lip, but there are times, especially in the early morning I wake well up before my wife and I choose to listen to Nightwish... Paper tissues will be needed to keep my pillow dry as I lay down with my in-ears in the dark. And there may be an occasional stifled sob, if the going gets good as it always does with this song.
