It's clever of Tuomas putting backing vocals behind Floor now that she's not at her 100%, Ever Dream is difficult song, she said it herself a few years ago, and it shows here how difficult it really is, I heard her voice crack a couple of times nearly at the end, but can't really blame her, since she's either going through or just finished her cancer treatment

Then, it’s probably too early for her to be touring. But, I did notice them using backing vocals before her cancer treatment. I mean, they always use backing vocals, but for some reason she’s been way off from them this tour. It could be because of her cancer. She didn’t even really get a chance to rest.

The playback has nothing to do with Floor's condition. They always run it in Ever Dream (and Storytime too). I don't know why - IMO these songs don't need a choir and it's so down in the mix in the official live videos that you can't really hear it anyway. Floor did OK here, but she doesn't look OK. Of course, they couldn't cancel or postpone the cruise like they did the Asian tour, so she had to tough it out. She really needs to take it easy now.

Something is definitely going on with her voice. Just compare it with 2013. It's a pity. :( She needs some rest, and not touring.

She had a couple of years rest during corona pandemic and in their first consert after that break in Oslo, her vocals didn't sound any better when singing Ever Dream (or almost any other song), so I would say the reason for her vocals getting weaker isn't due to touring. It's just a sad fact that her vocals are not and won't ever be in the same level as 10 years ago. It doesn't help at all that when her voice could rest while Nightwish isn't touring, she does her solo conserts. Overall it seems Floor is more into her solo career now and Nightwish just runs in the background and that can also affect on her singing in Nightwish, because earlier she could only focus on performing with Nightwish whereas nowadays she has to think about how she is able to perform her solo conserts too. To me it seems she doesn't have that much passion to perform with Nightwish anymore, which is sad. They have had some really great conserts during this tour though (for example Hellfest and some of their conserts during European tour), but I'm afraid how her vocals will sound during the next tour in 2024 or 2025.

Like Floor said in an interview. She replaced Tarja and Annette. She can't sing the same like they can. (Which in my personal opinion is understandable since their voices have a different sound and range and training.) She wasn't going to imitating their singing. She made those song her own. Which she does. I respect and like all 3 female singers. My favorite songs; Tarja; Creek Mary's Blood Annette; Meadows of Heavens Floor; Shoemaker Tuomas is a true genius to write and compose each time music for the Nightwish members at the time. I love Nightwish and also Epica ( and many more) Epica is good they have Simone already for 20 years. So they don't have this singer comparishing.
