An excellent interview! Marco is well-spoken and thoughtfull in his responses. I actually learned a thing or two here without having to endure any of the soap opera crud. Tuomas' interviews, quite frankly, are weird; he says he doesn't want to say stuff, then alludes to what he wants fans to figure out, yaddayaddayadda, etc.

It means that Anette, as well as many other singers sort of sing through their nose, as to close up their air passages in their throat, and let some of the vocal sounds come through their nose. I personally did not like Anette in the slightest way, but I'm just telling you what a nasal vocal technique is.
