Exactly.. Nightwish are the greatest.. Truly a team effort and all of them playing a major part. Like in the beginning of the track with Kai's drumming (come on Kai) then Tuomas drops his keys on us, then Floor.. Well what can I say, this is an extremely hard melody to sing and I got my first Floorgasm during this track.. Marco only actually sings on one track of this album (which is s shame, same with Troy) but they compliment Floor perfectly and Empuu sends me shivers with his solos. Think that's everyone.. Well done will give a few play throughs and sure before long I won't be able to stop listening.. Nightwish always reveal something every time you listen, always rewarding.. Long may they reign. The album is a masterpiece. I'm a fan since 2001 and I don't get the "oh, it's not old NW". Well, that's exactly the point!!! Why would an artist want to be the same after 20(!) years? Tuomas was a Boy Poet, now he's a man who sees his job as to at least try to make a difference to the world. And it's not just an honorable goal, it's the one that really makes your art and your life worthwhile in the longrun. My only guess is that people who are so against the album have little compassion and awareness to the real world outside their own lives. Because the message behind the music and lyrics is so powerfull and sincere and heartfelt, that you have to be heart-deaf to cast it aside...

@@aFoxyFox. Well, in that case I have two recommendations too. First is 'Ayreon', a prog rock project. Actually, it's one guy who recruits countless vocalists and musicians for his conceptual albums that are like a Sci-Fi - Fantasy epos. My favorite album would be 'The Source' that tells the backstory of the backstory. Floor has been part of it for the longest time and Marco joined once in too (like, on the one and only ever live concert with more singers than the stage could fit). My second recommendation is far away from metal, a male opera singer that combines pop, jazz, folk, etc while having the craziest vocal range ever and beating every female soprano: Dimash Kudaibergen. In my opinion, the only one greater than Floor, with technical perfection, and the sexiest barriton and sweetest soprano I've ever heard. He looks like a k-pop idol but is a traditional opera singer from Kazakhstan and a multi instrumentalist. This album is pure magic and art. And every time i listen i realize different details about the songs and it's wonderful, you can still tell this album is Nightwish. And will always Nightwish. They don't need to be Nightwish by putting lyrics about fantasies. Being Nightwish is about how smart these compositions and lyrics are.

i enjoyed the this song it depicts music as an entity and the giving of music to mankind teaching maybe help to improve aspects of ourselves and those around us. the sincerity of not just the vocals she or troy bring, the melodies and i think there is some harmonizing between her and troy in the song but this album for me was quite accomplishment for the band and the musicians didn't disappoint at all but i enjoy variety in the music and the creativities in not just the order of the songs on the album but flow of the journey the peaks and valleys the notes and the sounds they make when they play during recording to get everyone locked in and smooth and effortless transitions in the songs themselves and the instruments and the sounds that set a vibe which this band is great at, no problems there what makes them connect on the album.

I know many times we skip to where the "song" starts at 2:05, but the intro is a work of art. The way it tells the story of the development of music from the sonic mix of the cosmic and the natural to the imitation and later development of human rythm, social bonding and later musical expansion. And then the song starts and those lyrics are like the deepest thing you've never thought about and... Damn Tuomas Holopainen.. and everyone on front and back who make Nightwish... We're just very lucky.

I have listened to this song at least once a day for the last week, and it has never failed to evoke tears...What I admire about Mr. Holopaianen's efforts as a composer is that he seeks to convey in his work the poetic truth that cannot be spoken so much in words but felt in human expression, in a manner that one could easily defer as 'divinely inspired'; and while I completely respect Nightwish's decision to identify as 'openly secular', I would be remiss to not indicate that his/their work holds numerous elements for religious/shamanic awakening. The entire album is a magnificent cacophony of transcendent realization, to glimpse past the curtain of our limited daily perception, to fleetingly recognize the wonder and awe of this splendid universe in which we reside. To anyone who has ever contemplated the deeper truth of life and sought to catch the light of great purpose, this album is an invitation to chase that desire, to greet the wondrous beauty of the world with a full and cheerful soul. The fact that this entire album is readily available to play on KZbin without purchase suggests that one of the most significant efforts of Human Nature is to act as a catalyst for inspiration and personal awakening through the experience and contemplation of the MUSIC that is given freely. I have purchased the album myself, and I cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone just now in 2020 learning about Nightwish. Thank you for your attention.

Perfect. From the NASA recording of space (adjusting the wavelengths of light to sound) in the opening to the orchestration and vocalization throughout the rest of the song. Loved how Tuomas plays with the lyrics, actually referring to "Noise" coming behind the "Music", then, in the chorus, "Have you ever heard Music? It is coming, coming, coming, your way, the very first song." A great reference to the song "Noise" following behind "Music", the very first song on the album. Seamlessly weaving that into the other beautiful lyrics and this fantastic composition is but another manifestation of this man's genius. Love the song and everything about this album. Another Nightwish masterpiece.

Also my children (11 years and 8 years) have heard Music only once and sing the head sound of Floor from 6:13 all the time. To the whole band: Toumas, Floor, Marco, Emppu, Kai and Troy, no matter which order: great respect! The whole album is great. At the moment i'm stuck in Music. I can't find the words. Awesome. Floor is the best singer in the world. I might be overreacting right now, but I'm not quite sane right now :D I thought nothing could beat Endless forms most beautiful. I was very wrong. Tuomas, what you have created with this album surpasses everything else. Except Ghost love score, which was my first Nightwish song 15 years ago ;) respect.
