Emppu is great. He wanders around the stage doing his own thing, amusing the crowd and at the same time delivering scalpel-precise rhythm guitar, and the occasional blistering solo - always just what is wanted, and no self-indulgence.

@@chadbennett7873 It is because he knows how much he and the band are appreciated, that he quit. The music industry, like pretty much every industry, is a sasspool and a crushing hamster wheel for artists. As long as they deliver and are loved by the fans, they're of use for the labels, cause then they can milk the fanbase off their money with an infinite ammount of merchandise, festivals and whatnot. The actual art get's reduced to a mere tool and actual genius is often enough discarded or dulled, when it doesn't seem profitable enough. I loved Marco in the band, I love his playing and his voice and genuinely enjoy the work he's done, but above all I truly admire his bravery and integrity to break the wheel for him, even though he could have had an easy life wealth-wise, if he'd abanonded his morals.

Tuomas Holopainen is a genius. I can't believe that I ignored Nightwish for over 15 years. I knew about them but I prefered Within Temptation, Theatre of Tragedy, and Lacuna Coil for whatever reason. I just realized 5 days ago, when I stumbled over GLS @ Wacken 2013, what I have been missing and since then I'm doing nothing else but trying to catch up. Just eating, sleeping and listening to Nightwish up and down the internet the rest of the day. Their music is so freaking versatile, and My Walden - gosh! - how can't ALL these ppl in the crowd dance like crazy? This song is fantastic, so lively, so enthralling. I'm stunned.

I get it. Honestly. Sharon is a queen. The combo of Liv Kristine's vocals and ToT's eerie sounds was amazing. Cristina's voice on Swamped and Our Truth made me think those were the best metal songs ever. I love Simone Simmons' powerful operatic voice in Epica and Anneke's in The Gathering. But, eventually, Nightwish just feels like home, regardless of their lead singer.

That was a powerful and magical show from Nightwish. The Vehicle Of Spirit DVD/Blu-ray Editions so beautiful (especially the Earbook Edition with so many photos). The Wembley Arena and the Tampere Show so awesome and pure magic. Great songs from the Endless Forms Most Beautiful Tour and some golden oldie Nightwish songs with many-many extras. Floor rules the full stage with full of energy, with dancing moves, small theatrical gestures and communication with the audience. This woman is a pure magic and gift for humanity. And that singing and voice. Just wow. Powerful and beautiful performance. I'm truly amazed every single time. Floor have a beautiful heart and soul! I love this woman. Her voice, performance, femininity, presence, style... all of them! I really hope Floor will singing for so many years for us (and Nightwish too). Floor deserve every support, love, appreciation and respect! I hope one day I meet with her and we can talk a little bit (and thank her for everything includes the After Forever/ReVamp era). Really can't wait the new Nightwish DVD/Blu-ray (Decades Live) release this year! :)

I just love in so many videos of yours I see you guys showing each other how much you care for each other. Pats on the back, little show of affection showing how close you are as a band. Having little conversations with each other to giving a parched guitar player a drink while he's playing. You don't see that in American bands.

All the love and appreciation for each other gives the concerts a warm, harmonic feel. They have fantastic chemistry so the music is tighter as a result. The show might go on but if band mates can't stand each other the audience can feel it. It can be really uncomfortable, even if they are acting civil. Its commonly a problem when bands are formed to make money instead of music

And if you have studied the history from Nightwish, that is why they got rid of Tarja Turunen. She was saying that she could ditch and leave the band with in the days notice. One other thing Tarja did say is that she would not tour in Argentina or America ever again. And one time time they were almost forced to cancel the gig in the Oslo because of Tarja. So the decision to fire Tarja was a group decision. I do not know if that was the case. So the Tarja does not seem a team player like Floor and was acting like diva.

I am really blessed. Why? Because every time I have to go abroad for business there is ALWAYS a metal band playing. Most of the time it is Nightwish who are so kickass! This is an absolutely f*****g glorious song! 🥰 I'm fairly articulate but I don't have nearly enough words to praise this song with any real justice. This is an absolutely beautiful, and quite powerful song. It's even more fun to attempt to play along with. 🥰 This band just makes this grizzled old cynic happy and that is one hell of an accomplishment, period. I'm grateful for not just the music but the inspiration to learn to play that music myself. That inspiration has changed my life in ways I couldn't have ever imagined. I started out trying to learn drums because of Jukka. I did that for about 4 years and became low-end mediocre at it. But then I got antsy because Emppu made me need to learn 6-String. That made me realize Guitars were my thing and I switched. It was then of course, Marko who made realize bass looks cool as hell and I then needed one. The rest is history... The gratitude I feel toward people I've not ever met is something I've not crossed paths with before this. I've looked for any other band who can stand up with Nightwish for roughly 20 years now and I've found none. I just want to say thank you.... Skål!
