Tarja Turunen was absolutely great and wonderful with this song back then, I remember how it mesmerised me. And this version did that even better! Your voice is less powerful, but it works better for me, there is more texture to your voice and as it is somewhat more subdued, conveys the mood better, it really does work better for me than the original! As for the guitar, I can notice that it carefully stays out of the way of singing and supports it on the low-end possibly even better than in the original; at one point where there is a pause in the singing the guitar does a good job of adding energy into it in a subliminal way like wind arising. Very good, expressive work! Edit: This old version was the basis of my comparison: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oXqllaN8f955ocU In that one the guitar clearly has too much high-end, clashes with the piano and a little bit even with the singing voice. To be fair on them, they fixed it in this remastered version: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nIjQaHWCpL5sras I loved it, but still your version is cleaner and better.
